Who do you think had the saddest storyline in SGE? (I think that it’s a tie between Sophie, Cinderella, and the Lady of the Lake)
*chokes* SOPHIE!? Sophie lived a better storyline than most SGE characters, just because she had daddy issues and couldn’t stand not getting what she wanted doesn’t mean she had a sad life
lol, I think Sophie would be mine too. Reasons being:
-Her inside issues are very severe, and I feel like she takes the whole six books to take some actual development. Only until OTK is she happy not being a Queen or Princess really. Her self-image in the first book is actually sad to read for me personally.

Yeah Sophie is definitely NOT one of the sad story characters, although Cinderella and the lady of the lake did have quite a sad storyline.

I don’t think that this is exactly the saddest storyline, but I really feel bad for Lady Lesso. She tried to take care of her son, but he turned against her and later killed her.
Uhh not really sure, there were a lot. But I should add Aric to this discussion. He was literally abandoned in the woods when he was 6.
Yeah that was sad, but then he killed his mum and then got killed as well. Also, he was friends with that snake who, basically kills everyone but himself.
Nah ya’ gotta feel bad for Aric I mean would he have turned out so Evil and hateful if Lesso had chosen him over her job at the School??? My guess is no. It wasn’t right for him to kill her, but he still definitely has a sad backstory. He was on his own in the Endless Woods for probably about two years. That had to be tough.
