    “Grace’s Tale” Chapter 3:
“When you were just a baby, I killed your parents. They were King and Queen of a great Ever Kingdom. In fact, the Queen was my sister. But she was also my Nemesis! So I had to kill her. That’s what I did. But I couldn’t kill a baby, who was my own niece! So I took you away from that Kingdom and brought you up here. But you can’t escape your fate: you are an Ever, through and through.”
    POV (Point Of View) Grace:
I couldn’t believe her words. They stung. I knew she was Evil, but she’d always been my guardian, my protector. And now, suddenly, she’d become a monster, my own parents’ murderer.
Quickly I started packing my most valuable properties.
“What do you think you’re doing, child?” she said angrily.
“I’m leaving. For good!” I shouted.
“But, but… You can’t do that. You just can’t do that!!!” she tried.
    “WATCH ME!!!”
“But, but… where will you go?”
“My school is starting in 2 weeks. It’s 12 days away from here, by walk. I should get started. I’ll take some money with me. You owe me that.” I was nearly talking to myself. “Yes, I made the right decision.”
I finished packing and opened the front door. I looked back one more time at those red, angry, sad eyes. She looked like an abandoned dog.
    And then I left.

It’s quite short, sorry. But at least it reveals a great deal about Grace’s past, without giving out too much… Now she’s off on her own in the Endless Woods, on the way to the School for Good…
        Hope you like it!
