Abria’s POV
“Alright. I’ll help you look for it,” Abria smiled up at Nires. This was nice. An important job to do with an even more amazing person. “You know, this is kinda fun.”
He nodded, brushing his hair out of his face. “Myrtle honey can be hard to find, though.”
Abria wrinkled her nose, then shrugged. “Whatever. As long as we get all the stuff on time.” She gazed around the stalls then walked off and started perusing through their contents. There were lots of interesting things all over. She reached up and gently touched the flower he had put in her hair, smiling to herself.
Nires came up beside her, and she had to grin at the flower crown on his head. It looked so cute.
“Find anything?” He asked.
“Nope. You should wear orange like that more often, though,” she stated, pointing to the wildflowers perched in stark contrast to his hair. “It brings out your eyes.” She added, before a flush of heat filled her face and she had to look away.
“Hm? I guess I’ll have to take your word for it,” Nires rubbed the back of his neck, then kept on looking with her.
Finally, after a few minutes of searching, Abria spotted a crystal flask filled with golden liquid, tucked in the dark corner of a booth. “Maybe…” She muttered, before breaking into a jog. She slid to a stop in front of the stall owner, who didn’t look particularly happy.
He crossed his arms. “What do you want, girl?”
“Is that myrtle honey?” Abria asked bluntly, shooting him a pointed glare.
“And if it is?”

If this ship sails, I’m gonna have to make Nires a main character. This is just way too cute!
