Chapter 6: You Should Be Scared Of Me
I flicked through the book. Maybe I could find answers? I highly doubted it, as I found it in the ‘Fiction’ part of the library. Dr Jekyll turns into Hyde, blah blah blah… AHA! Because of science experiments?! No! I’ve never been experimented on! I slammed the book. Curse you De Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I groan. My situation is growing worse by the second. I’m a Murderer.
“No! SHE is!” I think. But it isn’t true. She is me. Or I am her? Or am I just delusional? Tears fall. I can’t even tell anyone. I’ve GOT to find a solution. I can’t let her win.
The funeral for the two girls happened today. Good and Evil came. Artemis was dressed in all black. She was mourning, but a few times she kept grabbing her head as if she had a headache. I was really worried about her. She was hiding something and I had a gut feeling that it had something to do with the murders. The banquet afterwards was OK. I sat next to Artemis but she was so quiet. I’m really concerned. She normally talks. At one point she gasps, and runs out of the hall. I follow, as do her friends Eclipse, Tornado and Suprise. She goes into the Girl’s Bathroom. I can’t follow. Tornado goes to take a nap and Eclipse gasps and runs off, muttering about needing to return a book from the library. Suprise goes in. I sit on a bench. I’m tired. My eyelids droop.
“YOUNG MAN?!” a voice screams. Dean Dovey. I’ve fallen asleep by a Girl’s Bathroom in Good. She shakes her head.
“OF COURSE! YOUR FATHER IS THE GOD OF THE DEAD SO YOU MUST BE THE MURDERER!” she yells. “NOW SUPRISE IS GONE TOO!” Suprise?!
Dovey drags me to the gates.
“Let the monsters have you!” she snarls. Both schools are watching.
“WAIT!” Oh Gods, is that… Artemis comes running out.
“I KNOW WHO THE MURDERER REALLY IS!” she cries. She does?!
“WHO?!” Dovey shrieks. Artemis looks at the ground.
