Chapter 7: Savage
She was lying. She had to be. But then why did she look so guilty? Dovey dropped me.
“Explain yourself, child,” she said in a voice that shook me to the bone. Two tears slipped down Artemis’ cheeks. She calmly breathed in and out.
“It’s OK. You can have the control,” she murmurs. Her eyes turn red, so does her hair. She begins to rise. She’s FLYING. Wings, a dark dark yellow, burst out of her uniform. Her eyes narrow into slits. With a poof, a faded blue dress appears, replacing the Evergirl pink dress. One last tear trickles down her face before all emotion is gone. She laughs slowly than gets faster. She cackles evilly. Dovey goes pale.
“It’s…” she says.
“YOU FOOLS! THINKING YOU COULD TRUST ME! ME?! EVILS GREATEST HOPE?!” she screams. She raises her hand and a bolt of magic shoots at the School for Good.
“There were students there!” Dovey yells, looking at the ruins of what was once the school. Artemis does the same to the School for Good.
“MY BEAUTIFUL EVIL HALL!” Sophie wails. Dovey raises an eyebrow. She turns to Artemis.
“DONT LET THIS CREATURE CONTROL YOU!” she shrieks. Artemis laughs.
“Oh? But this isn’t HER. This is ME!”
