“So, Daniel,” Hel’s voice sliced through the clock’s ticking. “I’ve heard you’ve been having some…issues.”
I scowled. Of course. Now that I’m causing trouble for other people she’s concerned. Storian forbid she actually care about any of my problems.
“What are you now, my therapi…[Read more]
Holy Cow you are a really good writer! I am really diggin this story!
Ok, one that is really good, two can you tag me please?
Wow, this is cool! I love Hel as a character and as a god. I had no idea that this was related to the Norse myths!
Can I ask: are you going to add any more Norse characters or characters from other myths and legends? It’s just that I’m really interested in things like that, especially Norse, Greek and Roman.
Most likely. I do love mythology—I know Greek the best, but Norse fascinates me—and folklore (the more absurd the better!), and try to work it in when I can to a lot of my stories. (I’ve been on here for 4 years now, so I’ve had a lot of opportunities to 😉 ). Yes, I believe more references to Norse mythology will be made, especially during…[Read more]
Also, if you would like to read the entire story, it can be found @bostonhorsez2 under favorites! (The newest ones are at the top, and all the chapters are in order)
As soon as I stepped back into Dovey’s office I saw that Danny was gone.
I felt my face pale.
“Where is he?” I demanded, clutching at my hair.
“Would you all like some water? You must be thirsty from all the trouble you’ve been causing.”
Westina shook her head, and Cassian nodded vigorously.
Dovey paced back and forth behind her desk, her hands clasped behind her back and her lips pursed.
It was dead silent other than Dovey’s furious mumbling.
I gazed at the ceiling and wondered how much longer this could go on. Dovey’s heels squeaked on the tile as she swiveled to face us.
“Could one of…[Read more]
“Angelica! Open the door this instant!”
I rolled off the bed, my body hitting the floor with a thud.
“Mother of—“ I yelped, whacking my head on the bed frame as I attempted to stand.
Kash ran around me in cirlces, whining.
“Angelica!” The voice I now recognized as Dovey’s sounded again.
Angelica and I s…[Read more]
Westina was gone. Out of my life forever, and hopefully out of Danny’s as well. No more worries, no more competition. Even now, I felt a satisfied smile curl my lips as the thought crossed my mind.
I rolled over to look at Danny, who had been sleeping much better now that Westina wasn’t in Good. Befor…[Read more]
@sapphy I’d be happy to let you join, but it would have to be okay with @autumnofwoodsbeyond too. It might be a bit difficult to work a character into the plot this late in the story (there have been over 100 chapters), but if you still want to, go for it! I’d love to see your character’s bio as well, as I’m interested in what he/she will be like. 🙂
Yeah, that’s why I’d love to join back in the Zodiac, but it’s so late in the game that I would have to memorize all the lore and what’s happened. @sapphy you’re welcome to join, but I’m not sure how it’d happen. I’d love to see what your character’s bio is like as well!
If you want to join back up, that would be SUPER helpful. We’re at a point where a lot of characters that WERE relevant, or likely to become so, aren’t active, so more is better.
If you’re worried about lore, I’m happy to make a post explaining everything that’s happened to people who need a refresher or forum newbies who are interested in…[Read more]
I watched Westina speed away from the chanting crowd, her dark hair blowing in the wind.
I knew Danny had seen her too, I could tell by the way he was staring fiercely in the opposite direction.
I frowned, knowing I had a decision to make. It wasn’t safe for her to be out there alone, so close to the…[Read more]
I didn’t know him, but I knew I hated him. Everything about him made my blood boil. I hated how he could make her smile the way I never could. I hated the way he looked at Westina, and the way she looked back at him. She had only looked at me like that once. Only once. And now, to see her looking at alm…[Read more]
I don’t know what’s gonna happen but that’s the best part about it!
Oh, I totally get that. Half the time I’m too afraid to make Danny interact with Westina because you write her so well, and I’m worried I’d portray her wrong! I wanted to make sure you felt free to write characters that I’ve been writing. 🙂
About a week had passed since the incident, and I had been avoiding Westina like the plague every day of it.
I only caught glimpses of her in crowded hallways and the occasional lunch. When I saw Westina, even if I wasn’t sure if it was her, I would cling to Angelica like a lifeline, trying to prove to her…[Read more]
So sorry about the wait! I was busy and developed a mini case of writers block—I know, I know, I’m making excuses. But this one is slightly longer than usual! (Keyword being slightly…)
Every moment spent with Angelica seemed to remind me of Westina. It was like a curse; memories of her haunted me where…[Read more]
Daang! I don’t think you needed an authors’ note to help us understand. You’re good at writing.
Yay! I actually love Angelica so good for her! But can boys and girls really sleep in the same room?
Well, in the beginning of the story, Danny had to share a room with Westina because of his un-princelylike behavior during the Welcoming. Dovey had hoped rooming him with a princess would help mellow him out, but Westina, as you can see, is not your average pushover princess, and this plan backfired horribly. Also, Danny and Angelica are keeping…[Read more]
