Here is the poem:

[UNTITLED]

The sea
You see
Is like me, in ways
Even I don’t fully anticipate

It doesn’t know 
Where the next tide will go
Or whether a fish will take the bait

It croons
It swoons
It’s deep green at noon
But it’s colour is navy under the moon

The moonlight bounces 
Spraying silver in its wake
And its deep dark depths
Are almost to much for the eye too take 

It is friends with the gusts
Of wind that it trusts
It splashed and whooshes
But subsides as it knows it must

I am like the sea
Swaying this way and that
I don’t know where I’ll be 
In the years coming too fast
And this I can decree
Without starting a spat:

The sea is deep
Like all of us.
