Hey everyone, I’m so so so sorry for not writing quick enough. I’m especially sorry to @kenzieever who wrote the rest of the chapter for me, except I had a plot in mind and forgot to discuss it with her. I’ve just been focussing on so many stories that I had no time to write this chapter. Well, it’s done now. I’ve forgotten the tags but hopefully Kenzie knows them.
Okay, okay, okay. I know what you’re thinking. How could you do that to poor Kenzie? You’re probably thinking I’m sitting on a beautiful throne enjoying my life and cackling away. Well, actually I’m actually sitting in a closet, wondering about life. Let me explain.
Thorin was my date for the ball.
But he wanted more than just dancing together.
    And I didn’t.
    “Hey, Maddie!” He said.
    What was that?
That was enthusiastic, happy and cheerful.
Three things nevers most certainly were not.
Something was wrong, something I didn’t understand. But now I know how foolish I’ve been.
At lunch, he asked if I could sit with him.
    “No,” I answered coldly.
I don’t know how, but somehow he brought me to a completely new place.
    “Where are we,” I demanded.
“Oh, just in the forest where we can talk privately,” He answered calmly.
“You’re my girlfriend now, I need to take you on a date.”
“Okay, I said yes to you and all but that does not mean we’re together or anything!”
“If I say you’re my girlfriend you are!” He growls, getting to his feet.
I glare at him. “You can’t control me, Thorin,” I said, rising to my feet.
Suddenly, Kenzie walked by and saw us. Thorin leaned in to me and I punched him.
“What was that!” I shout at him. He didn’t reply.
“Ugh, just get away from me!” I told him as I started walking away. I feel a grab on my shoulder and turn to see Thorin right there, glaring a stare that could kill.
“You will do as I say,” He says in a deep, growling voice. I didn’t know what was wrong with him, but this wasn’t the normal Thorin.
“No.” I tell him, swinging a punch at his face. Strangely, it doesn’t hit him, just swings back at my side. My finger starts to glow out of anger and I fire a spell at him, but it just goes back into my finger. Weird.
“You can’t hurt me Maddie. And if you won’t fight by my side, I guess someone else will have to.”
He stretched out his arm and his finger glowed, but instead of the usual shade of green, his finger glowed a deadly shade of black.
    “Who are you?” I asked.
He grinned, in a way that made him look crazy. “The person you’d least expect me to be.”
A shot of black shooted out of his hand straight onto me and my body started to glow. I couldn’t move, couldn’t breath, I don’t even think my heart was pumping. But, as soon as he starts the spell, it finishes and I looked next to me, only to find another girl who looked exactly like me.
Thorin smiled a way that didn’t even look human. He cackled with laughter and I backed away, trying to get away from whatever he was.
He stopped laughing and his tone turned dead serious. “Where do you think you’re going.”
And with that, the whole world turned black.
