CHAPTER SEVEN: THE SUITS IN BLACK
When the door opened, she saw the same woman with haunting gray eyes: Malevonia Redrum. She was less enchanting than she was before the murder of the prince. Her black hair was in a pixie cut and had a white streak. Her eyes were no longer that red that drew in princes from across oceans. Her skin was paler now, so that it looked grayish like her sister’s. Her usual beauty was dimmed quite a bit, and she was more malevolent than magnificent.
“Well, look who’s awake,” she said in a beautifully deep voice that didn’t match her looks. Azira pointed to her mouth so that Malevonia could un-mute her.
“Noisinia speaka reversa,” she incanted and Azira felt as if her lips were covered in tape. She felt like the tape was being ripped from her mouth. She said the first thing that came to mind just to make use of her lips, which was “Banana squash blaaaazoooo quick brown fox jumped over the lazy brown dog.”
“Well, I assume you’re wondering why you’re wearing those suits, and why I so unwillingly muted you. I wanted you to be quiet, which is simple, so that my citizens wouldn’t hear you. And, I was just hoping….
Sorry I cut it off. I ran out of time and I was distracted while writing, so I’ll do better today.
