My Ranking Points
Quests for Glory was…. interesting. A lot of things happened that I didn’t want to happen, but it’s fine. Sophie was a her “sophisticated” peak in this book, so yay?
Yeah I liked this version of Sophie the most – independant and composed and super mature. I ship Hophie but this was the book I started to root fro Sophie to end up alone, as it seemed to make her happier and a better person, when she was focusing on herself and not chasing a boy.
In my opinion, I thought that this Sophie was too focused on herself (‘Night Of A Thousand Sophies’ and whatnot). She was bored out of her wits being a Dean even though, yes, she was better off alone then trying to chase love around and around and around. But then again, Agatha and Tedros were ignoring her, dealing with their own problems, and all she had was Hort. Idk, I feel like my favourite Sophie was the Sophie from ‘A World Without Princes’ because she’s not as deranged as when she was going after Tedros in Book 1 and part of Book 3. I know that Evil can never love, but Sophie really does need someone, otherwise she may be dragged into yet another fairy-tale.
