Hey everyone! I found a precept that has all the The School for Good and Evil vibes! Here it goes!
“We’ve all got light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are”. —Again I don’t know who said it, but it is so true!
So I kinda need some advice here… I got this argument with a friend Mishell because we are writing a novel on Wattpad together and we were deciding like some stuff for our main characters, so I suggested that since the girl has my friends personality and likes that the boy should have mines, and she said, “okay, but he can’t like opera” and that sort of surprised me, so when I asked her why not she said “because I don’t like it” and I got reeeeeally angry, I’m not saying she should like it, but she should respect that I like it and that having one character with her likings and one with mines we would both be happy, but we ended arguing a lot and now I don’t even know what to do! Help me guys please!
(So I am tagging my closest friends just because I really need your help! This girl is the only friend I have at school and I don’t want to fight, but I’m also really angry!) @hesterofroom66 @princessaggieappleberry @twinklestar123 @fairytalegirl123 @scarlybear @dunn03 @sharpwitch am I missing someone? I’m truly sorry if I do! My memory *****, specially when I am worried and right now I am! Thank you guys! I love you all!

It’s ok I’m sure you and your friend will work it out. But If she did really offend you and made you angry I suggest that maybe you talk to her and say how you felt, my advise is pretty bad so I dunno if that helped. Anyways you write stories on Wattpad? So do I!! what’s your username I’ll add you and read your stories! Love from your friend Scarlett 🙂

I agree with @scarlybear. 100%. I would make sure she learns to respect other people’s opinion. But then again, it’s just about whether liking opera or not, if I were you I wouldn’t get too made about it…

I did tell her how I felt and at the end I just stocked to a few Buddhist philosophies and let it go hahaha no matter how angry I was! And I am DanielaValim 🙂 I’ll follow you back if you follow me!

Agh, I’m really terrible at advise too, but I totally agree with @scarlybear. Talk to her and see if you can work something out.

That quote is From Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix and Sirius Black said it.

It’s definitely not something to lose your friend over. Even if you made the character like opera, will it ever come up in the story. Anyways, I hope everything goes well<3

The quote is from Harry Potter, Sirius Black said it. I agree with @scarlybear. Don’t lose your only friend over something as minor as this.

She should learn to respect other peoples opinions. But arguing will not help, i got into a lot of them recently and lets just say it didn’t turn out well. But this is not something to lose your friend over. Talk to her and be calm about it

Totally agreeing with everyone else. And @dany, I know it doesn’t sound logical, but express your feelings to her, because if she’s really your friend she’ll understand totally and you’ll be able to work it out.
        Love your friend
