Chapter 4: Frozen Roses
Never in a million years did I ever think I’d be friends with a perk. Yet I find myself friends with 3. “Why do we have to dress like this?” I asked “Everyone dresses like this. We all want a prince to throw us a rose.” Crystal told me. “Now, how do I look?” “Crystal don’t do silly! You look amazing!” Julie told her.
“Thanks!” I have to admit, Crystal really did look amazing. Her ***** blonde locks in 2 braids, gold heels and a long sleeved pink and green floral patterned dress that went down to her feet. Julie looked great too, she was wearing a short frilly navy blue dress to bring out her eyes, her strawberry blonde hair was in a ponytail that she had obviously curled, on her ponytail was a ribbon tied into a bow that matched her dress. Jane stepped out from behind the room divider and made a pose. Julie Crystal and me started to laugh. “What’s so funny?!” Jane remarked. “Nothing, just that pose you made.” I replied
“Well if you didn’t like it I can do another one.” Jane made another pose. It only made us laugh more. “I like your pigtails.” Crystal told Jane. Janes fiery red locks were in 2 pigtails, she had yellow dress with a lace on it and sandals like mine. “Oh my god! Look at the time! We’re going to be late!” Julie jumped up and dashed out the door, I chased after her while the other girls trailed behind. We managed to get there on time but because of our lack of time we ended up getting seats at the back, the very back. I found out princes weren’t the only read we HAD to dress pretty, I saw a group of girls pointing and whispering about other girls in the audience. I gasped. I recognized one of the girls. Her name was Elizabeth. People called her Liz for short, she had been one of the bullies back in Camelot. Pollux stepped onto the stage and started giving one of his long boring speeches. I would’ve listened but I kept glancing over at Liz and her friends. I had a feeling this wasn’t one of the good surprises I had been hoping for…
