My Ranking Points
Hello, everyone! I know I haven’t been online in a while, and I’m awfully sorry. The last half of my summer flew by in a blur, and before I knew it, I hadn’t been on in weeks. Then the school year began, and I figured I should try and focus on the first week of High School above all else. Now that everything of that sort has mellowed out, I can sort of relax and return to my happy place–this forum.
First, how are you all? Did anything exciting happen while I was away, or have you guys read any great new books? I saw a few unfamiliar faces scrolling through some recent posts, so hello there! Here’s my belated welcome to the forum.
Anyway, how far are we into the new Role Play and what storyline did we agree on? 🙂
We’re actually just starting! It’s a Pre-Schoolmaster RP. I’m on my iPad, so I can’t give you a link to the Google Docs. Do you wanna join?
Hi, Thank you for the welcome, as I am new to this forum, and question-wise, we have literally just started the new roleplay, everyone is writing their first POV, and I can give you the summary for the new rp below:
Before the two School Masters came to power, something awful happened in the woods, many, many years ago. . .
Back then, the woods was split up into four regions, the Amber region, consisting mainly of Evers, the Onyx region, consisting mainly of Nevers, the Jade region, consisting of both and the Malachite region, consisting of both as well. The schools were neutral ground. All of the normal SGE cities existed within the regions. They existed together peacefully for a time, but things were tense. Eventually, the four regions had a war over territory, which was eminent. The war lasted for years, and then the Onyx region developed a deadly virus, and unleashed it on the other regions. The virus spread quickly, killing many. It had a different effect on animals, though, turning them into horrible corrupted beasts that killed everything in sight. Onyx region, however, had the cure to the virus, and was immune. The cure was made of Moon Flowers, which Onyx region farmed in secret so that they would never run out. None of the other regions knew that the horrible disease could be cured by the flower, and so they surrendered to the Onyx region, begging for the cure. The Onyx region told everyone about the flower, and opened up their flower farms to the public. But something happened. The farms had been ravaged. There were no more Moon Flowers left. In the woods, though people searched and searched, every single spot where Moon Flowers usually grew had been dug up. The Amber region, the biggest of the four, had been hit the hardest by the plague. Their leader was furious with the Onyx region, thinking that they were withholding the cure, despite the Onyx region’s claims. They blamed the Onyx region, and started fighting against them, trying to find their stash of Moon Flowers. The Malachite region focused on finding out what force had taken away the Moon Flowers, and where they were. The Jade region focused on finding out if there was another cure , as the wizard who created the virus was killed in the war, and any knowledge of other cures was lost. The Evers found out a way to slow down the plague, but have decided to withhold it from the Nevers. The first sign of the plague was a rash at the entry point. The plague irritates your skin cells as it enters your body. Then came the coughing fits that worsened violently over time. Then came a period of “recovery”, which was actually caused by all the cells in your body shutting down. Then you would begin to cough blood, the point of no return. After that you would begin to cough up mysterious black **** that can’t be produced by the human body. Where it came from was a mystery. Then, you would die.
The schools were a safe haven for the Plagued Ones, and the school for good took care of them. There was never anything the could do, other than buy them a little more time. Anyway, the schools taught young Evers and Nevers not only how to become legends but also about the plague and possible ways of stopping it and preventing it. If you wanted to help stop the plague, your best bet was to go to the schools.
I think this is all regarding the new rp.
ELLLLLLIIIIIEEEEEE! *tackle hugs*
We just started like yesterday-ish, so you haven’t really missed anything. The doc for the new RP is here, it has all the information in it: http://tinyurl.com/RPLevel2PlagueDoc
Hi Ellie! I hope high school is going well! Like the others said, we’ve just started a new RP and have been posting bios for our characters.
YOU’RE RIGHT, SUMMER DESERVES A SPEEDING TICKET
ELLIEEEEE WE MISSED YOU! I hope High School is going well, I kind of understand as I’m beginning the same school year/grade thing as you, and although we changed school back in Year 7 (6th Grade), we’re beginning serious work towards exams now. Luckily it’s not too much work at the moment! We’re just beginning the new rp, so this is a great time for you to come back. I think there’s a document here which should update you with everything http://tinyurl.com/RPLevel2PlagueDoc
EMMMM I’VE MISSED YOU, PALLLL! High School was definitely scary on the first day, and I hear there’s loads of work coming my way in the future. However, I’ve entered this little warm pocket of calm for the time being, and even though I don’t know how deep it goes, I’m going to try and get the most out of it while it’s still here. I hope the start of High School went well for you too, and I wish you good luck with the upcoming exam work.
Thanks for the link! 🙂
HEYYY YOU’RE BACKKK!!
I did read Summerlost, which was great and as said above we’re doing the whole region-schoolmaster POV. Can’t wait to see how your character turns out! 🙂
