Chapter 10 (I think)
I continued cutting the Rose and Ross leaned over from beside me to have a look. Butterflies exploded from my stomach, but I kept doing what I was doing, not showing that when he’s closer I feel, better? Nervous? Excited? They’re all things I don’t normally feel. “I hope that’s not what happened to mine, it took some time getting all of those thorns off.” He said “relax pretty boy, your rose is fine” I say, trying to act normal and treat him like how I would treat any other boy. “Not mine, yours. Now I know which roses you like” “and that matters because?” I ask. He smiles sending me the message. But I don’t feel like I’m getting it right. It seems like he likes me. But that can’t be right. Can it? “I like roses that are…….red, with a few thorns. But people can never get it right” Clover said. Great. She likes Ross. Now she’s going to fight with me and I’ll have to fight for my “true love” and become a damsel in distress. Not happening. I have to get away from Ross. Although I feel like something is just pulling me in. “I like yellow ones” Ramona said, eyeing the one I was cutting. Ross snickered a bit. Wait, who cares what Ross does? Not me. Or I won’t soon. “Which ones do you like Jade?” Ramona asked. “I guess I like light pink ones. I just find them truly beautiful, yet I feel like they’re also strong” Jade replied. Ramona definitely likes this girl now. They both shared a smile. I realized I was cutting for so long that I was at the bottom of the stem. I reached to a tree that had different coloured roses on it to get another one. I felt Ross grab hold of my hand and slowly put it down. Then he grabbed my scissors and handed them to a fairy. I saw the fairy fly up to his dorm room and put my scissors on the windowsill. Dexter, Ross’s friend almost gave Ramona, Clover and Jade a heart attach by lunging onto his notebook to write something down. He didn’t startle me though. Nothing does. Or at least I know how to hide it. Jade asked him what he was writing and, turns out, he’s very interested in fairies and studies them. We all were done and I started heading off to my classes.
I started walking to my final class, surviving fairytales. I was thinking about my main problem for the whole day. Should I stay here? Should I go to the evil side? Or do I have a chance to go back to Ravenbow? Or maybe even another kingdom. Then I ran into another problem. A stinky problem. A problem named Peter.
