Kaz woke in an odd position to the tinkling her alarm bells. She gasped with enough force to toss her out of the bed. This is it! Today’s the day we take down Kamaria! She noticed Aoibh was already out of bed, probably at breakfast. Zahra was nowhere to be seen, yet, so Kaz knocked on the side of the lamp just in case. Kaz haphazardly t…[Read more]
“G’night, Z,” Kaz glanced at the watch on her wrist, noticing for the first time how late at night it was. “My goodness! Time really flies…” Kaz paused for a moment as she lay down on her bed, thinking about the time-flies in Wonderland, and slowly drifting off to sleep.
Where should we go from here?
we’d probably start the coup, but I kind of want to wait for Rachel to get back before we do that…
Those were my thoughts too, Rachel and Alex play such a huge role I can’t imagine doing it without them! If there were any smaller plots though, or character interactions.
Yeah, we can just have them hang out until Rachel returns
The next two days of camp are half days so I should be free tomorrow! If you want we can kickstart it tonight though 😁
I’M FINALLY DONE WITH CHAPTER SIX OF THE MYSTERIES WITHIN US! HOORAY! Oh boy oh boy it’s kind of a long one, but I hope it satisfies. As always, constructive criticism, thoughts, questions, and reactions are greatly appreciated 🙂 .
omg this is so amazing, it’s like I’m reading a published story!
ASLJDF;ALSKJDF;ALKSDJFA;LSK YAYAYYAYYAYYYYY ANOTHER ADDITION TO THE TEAM!!!!!!!!!
This chapter was wonderful!
Kaz squealed, unable to conceal her excitement. “I’m gonna meet my Mum!” Kaz stood up and danced around the room, forgetting that it was the middle of the night, and forgetting that Aoibh was asleep. She leaped back onto her bed, looking over the note again. “Christmas can’t come soon enough,” she said softly.
Kaz thought it over, not fully sure she trusted Zahra on this matter, but Kaz trusted her friend and that would have to enough. “Okay, fine. Deal.” Kaz squeezed Zahra’s hand.
¨Z, you don’t understand,” Kaz furrowed her brow in worry. “I’m honored you’d be willing to do this for me. But you can’t. Because as much as I wish I could see my parents again, it’s even more important to me to have you here. As my best friend.”
I’m not crying you are
Oh my god same. *hands over tissue box labeled: for the people who have no reason to be here*
“Please don’t try to grant this wish?” Kaz searched Zahra’s eyes, hoping to find confirmation. “I know you too well, and I know you might try. And it’s very sweet of you to do so but I can’t have you hurting yourself over this.”
Kaz wiped another tear from her eye. “I-I couldn’t ask you to do that. It’s even much of a wish, really. More of a…what if, you know? Plus, I still see my dad sometimes. He didn’t just disappear like my mum. But not having him around a lot sorta stops him from being the father figure a lot of kids have.” Kaz grasped Zahra’s hand. “Can…[Read more]
“I just miss them so much…” Kaz bit her lip. “My parents. My mom left before I could really know her. All I’ve got of her is this ring and a letter she wrote my dad before I was born. And my dad, bless his heart, tried so hard to take care of me and keep a roof over our heads but it was just too much for him. Don’t get me wrong, I…[Read more]

OH MY GOD YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Kaz plopped down on her bed, making a whump noise as she did. She frowned. “I…don’t know,” Kaz found herself fiddling with the diamond ring on her finger as she often did when she was anxious or angry. A lump arose in her throat but Kaz forced it back.
“Kaz, is that the truth?” Zahra asked.
Kaz’s eyes began to mist, quickly developing…[Read more]
I just noticed this now– Kaz technically already wished for something when she said “I wish it was.”
