Random Question: Does anyone think Kiko is a bad friend?
Although Kiko is such a popular character, I can’t help notice that she is really underdeveloped and sometimes a bad friend. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean absolutely terrible friend. I mean a friend who isn’t ideal.
This can be shown in the 1st book when Kiko just used Agatha to rant to…[Read more]
Yes, I think Kiko is a bad fried. Overall, I think that Kiko is a weak character. She has no purpose in the story, so everything she does falls flat, especially her friendships. That is just my personal opinion though.
Well, Kiko’s not one of the very best characters, but she is fundamentally a really nice girl. I mean, she gave Agatha little favors like lending her lipstick and giving her a place to sit–and even though those don’t sound like much, well, it’s still SOMETHING. All the other Evergirls were either scared of her or super mean to her (BEATRIX).…[Read more]
Well Kiko just wants to be happy. She tried to be good friends with Agatha but Agatha stayed with Sophie. She tried to love Tristan… well we know how that went ( R.I.P Tristan.)
No, I like Kiko and I just feel sorry for her. She should have more focus on her in books 5 and 6.
I actually think she is a good friend. Sure the reason why she befriended Agatha was probably as a good deed at first but in the end Kiko does care for Agatha for example in book 2 when Agatha came Kiko ran to hug her saying she missed her and in book 3 according to Sophie Kiko cried out of depression saying that she missed Agatha and wished that…[Read more]
This is just my opinion, but does anyone feels like Anadil is the most underdeveloped character in the coven? I mean, Dot is unique due to her not being a “cold-blooded” villain like the others. In other words, not your usual villain. In addition, Hester is the leader of the coven, and pretty much the fan-favorite. However, Anadil feels……[Read more]
i agree i feel like if they focused on her and her story and had her be a bigger character it would be easier to attach to her dont get me wrong tho i still really love her it would just be easier to feel for her if you knew more about her
Same but also if we knew a bit more about her cause hester’s mum is from hansel and gretal and dots dad is from robin hood but anidil’s is the white witch.
I don’t know that story though.
I feel like there are many characters that are still underdeveloped. Like, these are the characters that they use often, but yet don’t tell you much information about. It’s really crazy. Characters like Beatrice, Kiko, kinda Hort too. And that’s just three! There are PLENTY more 🙂
Do you guys feel like Soman should write, like, a gigantic book…[Read more]
yea that would be awesome
and i totally agree Beatrice and Kiko are big characters and we now NOTHING about them
Yep, but I feel like that is kind of her character. She’s supposed to be kind of introverted and quiet, but dangerous and unpredictable (at least that’s what I got out of her story).
@Bookworm123456789 I TOTALLY agree with you. If Soman wrote a book like that, it could help us Readers get to know all the characters and help us predict whats going to happen next!!!!
Omigod, I just realized that a bunch of Hamilton Songs would be cool if sang by SGE characters
1. Rafal in book 3 singing “You’ll be Back” to Sophie when she goes with Agatha and Tedros
2. I feel like when Tedros first met rhian in book 4, right hand man would kinda fit it with Tedros being Washington and Rhian being Hamilton.
3. “Your Obedient…[Read more]
Oh and Sophe singing “Helpless” in book 1 about Tedros.
Also, I think Chaddick singing “Wait for It” would be cool.
And at last, Aric with the “Room Where it Happens.”
Hmmm… and how about Guinevere singing “Who Lives, Who Dies Who Tells your Story” after Lancelot dies.
ok, I think this is probably the most far-fetched theory ever, but bear with me here. What if the lion and the snake aren’t actual people? What if the lion and snake just represent truth and lies. I mean, in this SGE world, it’s all about balance between two sides: “Good and Evil”, “Boys and Girls”, “Old and New” and finally now “Truth and Lies”.…[Read more]
I think that’s a really good theory. It actually makes a lot of sense!
I agree with you. The ‘Lion and the Snake’ would probably pose as the Truths and Lies, to help show a perspective of having to make the right decisions when crowned king/queen.
I was rereading the books when two random questions/theories came up in my head. Can villains have nemesis that are villains? Like for Leonora and Aric. the more I thought about it the more I thought what if they weren’t nemesis that all? What if Aric was just so mad that he saw what he wanted to see and saw Leonora as his nemesis? Also, as they…[Read more]
Yeah… however, I think in this case, strenght was more related to social power. Because while Leonora was having Evelyn threatening her secret (she looks like a wounded puppy when Evelyn’s around, according to Hester or Anadil), Aric was growing stronger in the School for Boys and gaining more power over the boys. At New Evil, while she gets to…[Read more]
Soman, (and if you’re not Soman you can answer it too???)
How does a seer’s power exactly? How far into the future can they see? In book 3, Sader clearly said that the furthest he could see was the point where Sophie and Agatha are at Vanessa’s tomb in the Brig and doesn’t know anything beyond that. If so, how does he know that Nicola’s arrival to…[Read more]
This is a GREAT question, and one I’ve been wondering myself, but I think I can shed a little light on it.
For the second question(since the first was sort of generic :P), I think it’s kind of the Universe that tells them how far they can see. I’d guess that Agatha and Sophie’s first storyline was separate from Nicola’s, and Sader was saying that…[Read more]
hi everyone, I just watched Soman’s book 5 spoiler video. (yes, I know it’s quite late) but there’ s just something I find… interesting. So Soman says this “We know that Rhian (chuckles) is um, not necessarily a good guy. We’re pretty sure he’s a bad guy, right?” Alright, hold up. Does anyone find that… a bit interesting? Is Rhian going to get…[Read more]
I was confused by that too, I think Rhian might be beyond good and evil, I think he’s just selfish
Or what if it turns out he pulled the sword out of the stone to help Tedros? Like I know that makes no sense, but like, everyone thought Snape was Evil…right? And it turns out he was Good? So couldn’t Rhian be the same? maybe?
I’m just interested to hear other’s opinions, but which character’s (or characters’) story will Soman tell in book 5 and 6. I mean, he did say that there are some characters that won’t necessarily come back to life in book 5 but their story will matter. Who do you guys think it’s going to be.
a) Lady Lesso, Aric, and Aric’s dad?
b) lady…[Read more]
Aric, in the end of book 4 it kind of lead to his backstory.
Aric’s backstory, and maybe some flashbaks of Chaddick with Tedros.
Probabally Aric or Leonora because Chanani said that characters (especially the ones that died in book 3) will “come back”
Probs not Cinderella because they already explained her backstory in book 3. Maybe Nicholas…
Oh yes please Nicholas (and if he ends up having a secret crush on Chaddick I’ll scream because I SHIP THEM… unfortunately it probably won’t happen)
Ok, so I’m new to this group and I just joined but I just want to hear some theories about book 5. First of all, why didn’t the storian write Hort into the quest? Is Hort really going to die…. NOOOOOOOOO. I’m crossing my fingers. please no. Also, any theories for why Rhian is named “Rhian”? Does he have a connection to the good school master or…[Read more]
Theorie 1 Hort : Maybe it was a fake? ( i don’t know for sure which map it said it on) .I am thinking of Sophie’s map as Dovey bewitched before.
I also think that Rhian might have a connection with the school masters, but that is odd because Rhian is the name of the good school master and Rhian definitely isn’t good. In the book it also hints that Lady Gremlaine and King Arthur did have a son so maybe the snake is their son.
ok, you just elicited a huge theory out of me Sophieturnedgood….
What if Rhian and the Snake,
I decide to use Ockham’s Razor and say that Rhian was named that after the School Master. Like you naming your son after a great king of the past, or someone of your family.
But if we’re going to have fun, let’s have fun. When the Good School Master died, he shattered his soul in three: one part went for the swan crests, the other to August Sader, and the third reincaranated as… dun dun dun… RHIAN OF CAMELOT! As why it was Mr. Rhian Gremlaine, maybe he has some sort of hidden talent or great Good hidden under a…[Read more]
