My Ranking Points
Hey so you know in OTK when Japeth pretends to be Rhian, and he fakes a tan? Sometimes I feel like that because my natural skin tone is a pale white, but during my marching band season, I get very tan. I wear a watch all day long, so there’s just this pale white ring on my wrist from where it is. One day I was in the car with my mom and I looked down and noticed how pale that wrist is compared to the rest of my skin. My eyes widened as I made the connection, and I was so proud of myself for figuring it out, so I told my mom that I was a Japeth pretending to be Rhian, and she just turned to me and went “Who?” This is why she needs to read this book series. I tend to make random comments about SGE all day long, but she doesn’t understand any of them!
That’s me with literally everyone. I told my friend “You know Sophie had five boyfriends? And 3 of them died? And one married her sister?” and she just cracked up laughing with me which I find is the MOST any of my friends have done but some of them are like “Wut” so I face palm and yell “HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT TAGATHA IS!?” NONE OF MY FRIENDS READ THE SERIES SO I MAKE RANDOM COMMENTS AND NO ON GETS THEM
I do that all the time with Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The hobbit, Lord of the Rings, ect
I was finally able to convince my dad to read City of Bones. One day I was out shopping with my mom, and she gets a text from him that says, “Tell [insert my name here] that Jace is a ****, and Simon is an idiot.” I later found out that he was talking about the chapter called “The Memory of Whiteness.” I don’t want to say what happened in the chapter incase anyone wants to read it.
OMG ME TOO! But my friends read Harry Potter and my parents watched the movies. My friend saw the Percy Jackson musical and I threw lord of the rings at my wall so…I guess they kinda understand
My friend is forever trying 2 get me 2 read city of bones and i dont!
I used to have a really bad watch tan line, then I just took my watch off for a few months. Now, I never know what time it is. But my skin is all mostly the same color!
@dianatheever City of Bones is the first book in The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare (one of my favorite authors). It’s really good! I think it’s been translated to Japanese, so if you can find a copy of it, I highly recommend you read it! 🙂
I’d love to read it in ENGLISH, my Japanese really isn’t good, compared to my classmates! Besides, English is my mother tongue!
I’m sure it’s great, but I’ve got midterms right now, and my school’s library is basically all Japanese, so I’ll go to a more international library sometime!
Ps: Midterms suck, is anyone else in high school? ( or junior high in Japan, and America, I think 🤔)
Maybe I should try City of Bones..(You know after I finish reading the five books I’m multitasking with) also I only speak Spanish and English..
