sorry I haven’t had a debate question in so long; out of ideas. Once again, please ask your own if you think of any!
Do you believe that Sophie continued to visit Agatha (back in Gavaldon, before the Schools) because she was her good deed, or because she liked her?
Both, although she did say it was her good deeds in the 3rd book.
First it was because of a good deed, then they started to like each other.
I think Sophie still visits so agatha but not just 4 a good deed, they are friends now ;D
Well, Sophie originally visited Agatha as a good deed, but then she started to like her. Impressing the School Master was the reason she started visiting, but starting to like Agatha was the reason she kept visiting.
I THINK THAT Sophie was evil all along. She probably just wanted her good deed, but ended up making friends with Agatha.
Once again, please ask your own questions if you think of any!
S.G.E. Debate question:
Do you think Nevers can love? Why or why not?
Yes. Lady Lesso did. She loved professor Dovey and Sophie loved Agatha.
yes nevers can love
can you tell me if your a ever or a never.
may i be your friend @hesterofroom66 please
Maybe, @hesterofroom66 I feel like lesso is good deep in side she is probably 73% evil and the rest good. I also feel that Sophie isn’t 100% evil. Remember she had feelings for Tedros in book 2. I classily Sophie as 85% evil and the rest good. I think if you are 100% evil you can not love but hate.
This is what I thing I could be wrong.
@princessaggieappleberry Sophie is 100% Evil cause remember she can hear the thoughts of animals? Like the golden goose in book one? Only 100% souls can hear animals, same thing with Agatha.
@princessprimrose sorry, but if they are 100% good or evil, then they would be perfect, without lies and hesitation for good, and Sophie would have kept Rafal and killed the other two.
That’s soooo true @hesterofroom66, she would of killed Agatha and Tedros ( I would start crying ), but like you @princessprimrose that golden goose thing ment that she was evil, now I’m really confused, to me she has done good things through out the book but more bad things then good, but still I don’t think her or lesso are 100% evil. But…..…[Read more]
may i be friends with you my real name is princess ally seeing i am in good and do you like good or evil better
yeah although Sophie and Rafal “Loved each other” it was hate all along … but don’t forget about Hort
Regal and Sophie, that wasn’t love. It was just Rafal’s pure Evilness combined with Sophie’s desperation for love. She didn’t really love Rafal, she just took him because it was all she could get at the time and told herself it was love, while really Rafal was just using her to destroy the world. And it would have happened if Agatha hadn’t brought…[Read more]
A note before I ask the next question: you guys are wlcome to ask debate questionss yourselves! Please do!
Do you think Sophie and Agatha would have been just as successful if Sophie had attended Good and Agatha had attended Evil? Why or why not?
Well, not quite. Sophie would’ve gotten her prince, not turned into a phsyco witch, and Aggie would’ve grown to like studying Evil. Hester, Anadil and Dot would’ve gotten the roommate of their dreams.
No, because even if they went to the opposite schools Sophie would still be evil deep down inside and Agatha would be good, but Sophie would ruin Tedros’ life and Agatha would never know she was good inside and just turn a bit evil, and it would mess up everything. You can’t change who people are (like the School for New Evil failed, because those…[Read more]
No way Agatha is good no matter what. She would of probably failed as an evil student. And Sophie is evil no matter what. She would of failed as well or became a princess by making Tedros fall in love with her. Then she would of probably done what Tedros’s mother did.
Debate question! ***Warning: major spoilers for the Last Ever After***
In one EverNeverTV episode, Soman said he was going to kill Sophie in TLEA, but changed his mind to Lady Lesso. Which character do you think should have died? (Based on their storyline, not which one you like more)
*claps hands over mouth* If I had a choice, I wouldn’t want either one to die. But I just couldn’t kill off Sophie, no matter how Evil she is. So I will have to say Lady Lesso. Lady Lesso was an amazing character, but I couldn’t have Sophie die, I just couldn’t. And besides, Lady Lesso’s death cleared the way for Sophie to have her happy ending at…[Read more]
Rafal’s death made a HUGE difference! If Sophie hadn’t killed him at that moment, he would’ve destroyed Good, and the world would end, and then there would be no happy ending for anyone, not even Sophie, because it would’ve wiped out the two people Sophie needed in her life, plus there wouldn’t be any world anymore for anybody to live…[Read more]
*inhales* Sophie is not my favorite character, but you can’t just kill her! She is a very important person!
just to clarify, I meant out of Sophie and Rafal, not just any character.
As for my answer:
I think Lady Lesso should have died. Though I prefer her character to Sophie’s, I feel her death was perfect for her character arch. It shows us one final time that Evil can love and be heroes, and is the only way Aric could have died. It also made the way…[Read more]
I wish none of them died, but saying that, I would go with Lady Lesso, because she died after rescuing the balance and she helped Sophie understand this balance before she died, and she also left “the old and the new, both in good hands,” so Sophie got her happy ending 🙂
New debate question!
Do you think the School for Evil should have a doom room? Why or why not? And if you said yes, should Evers have one, too?
I think both schools shouldn’t have a doom room and both have groom rooms
Um…that’s a hard one. For once, a matter of fair and not fair has me stumped. Um…uh…I think…er…*sighs*
This is dangerously close to impossible.
No. No Doom Room. The teachers can come up with other punishments. Physical ****** torture is out with the old.
yes I think they should because they need to learn the life is not that easy
SGE debate club question:
Was Guinevere right to leave Camelot with Lancelot? Why or why not?
Yes. Lancelot was the one she really loved, and she was unhappy in Camelot. Her staying with Arthur as long as she did was because she thought it was her duty. (Ha ha! Doody!) But it was really much better for her to do what made her happy. And she did say that it was better for Tedros too. She did what made her truly happy, and that’s what matters.
I think she was wrong in leaving. Yes, she did love Lancelot, and yes he did make her happy, but she had a huge responsibility. When she agreed to marry Aurthur. She gave herself both to him, and his kingdom. She agreed, whether she regrets it or not, to look after its people and be the best possible queen she could be. I understand her falling…[Read more]
Yes she did leave her responsibilities as queen behind (as well as her husband and son) , but now she’s happy with her true love.
Impossible girl, why don’t you go back and read the chapter “who’s helping who” in The Last Ever After?
I’ve read the book more times than I can count, and I still stand by my claim. Aurthur was left alone to raise their son and rule a kingdom, and I think that is wrong.
But it was better for Guinevere and for Tedros. Besides, if you think about it, it was Arthur’s own fault. Guinevere never really loved him. He was the one who pulled her into a marriage that made him happy but not her. And when she finally decided to abandon that marriage and follow her heart instead, he used Merlin’s spell for the…[Read more]
I agree with @boomboompancakes Guinevere did the right thing for her and Tedros.
Hello! As some of you guys know, I’m filling in for @millicent8146 with SGE Debate club! Here we go:
Dot and Hort: Do you ship it? Why or why not?
No because sophie totally has it for hort wether she knows it or not.
Yes! Dot has always appreciated Hort, even when he was awkward and unattractive. Sophie on the other hand never liked him romantically, both before and after he joined a gym.
Yes I do they do deserve each other and Dot has always liked Hort but unfortunately Hort does not like her back so…….
I do not. Mainly because I do not ship. But even if I did, Hort only has eyes for Sophie. Not Dot. And Dot seems to be pretty much fine without him, with just Hester and Anadil and chocolate.
not because Sophie and hort are because hort will do anything for Sophie
I don’t simply because I’ve been shipping Sophie and Hort since book one, but I do think Dot and Hort would end up being a better couple then Sophie and Hort.
Hmmm…. I don’t really ship, but I’m really torn between Hort and Dot and Hort and Sophie
I SHIP IT SEE @lovedove567. They were friends in first book, hort missed her in second and she missed him
Hort finds Dot annoying and gross, and he is also devoted to Sophie.
Here’s something all of you have probably forgotten from book one because it was only briefly mentioned. During the Never’s ‘No Ball’, one of the pairs of Never’s dancing was Dot and Hort together. So maybe they do feel attracted to each other a bit.
Debate question: If Tedros had been willing from the beginning to go along with Sophie’s plan of giving her a chance with him in The Last Ever After, do you think the ending would have turned out better? What do you think would be different, if anything?
I think it would’ve saved them a lot of trouble and deaths. But Agatha will forever live with a broken heart and Sophie probably would’ve been a bad queen.
Not sure if I’m allowed to answer my own question, but: Sophie was right. I feel that, if tested, Tedros would give Sophie a fair chance, then return to Agatha, and their relationship would be better than ever.As she had not received false hope like in the books, Sophie would have less bitterness and no need to go back to Rafal. The story would…[Read more]
It would never happen.Anything couldn’t change Tedros’ heart. He’s madly in love with Agatha.
I agree that he would have come back to Agatha, but if he had given Sophie a chance, the whole war and many deaths could have been avoided. What happened to SPOILERS Cinderella and Lady Lesso is all because Tedros was unwilling to try out another girl.
Honestly, Sophie was being a tiny bit selfish about that. True, the ending would be better if Tedros went along with Sophie, but that is sorta what he did, right? Sophie should’ve accepted that she had a chance with Tedros and she let that chance go during her first Trial. Besides, Agatha may not have shown that she was upset but deep down, her…[Read more]
I just read The Last Ever After again and was wondering something. If Hansel and Gretal were children when they killed the witch and are old now, and Hester is a teenager, how does Hester have a picture of her with her mother? It’s most likely been at least 30-40 years (maybe more) if Hansel and Gretel need wheelchairs, but Hester’s in school, so…[Read more]
