I would love to be Agatha. I loved that character, and I’ve been in her shoes. I’ve gone through bullying and discrimination with what she had gone through, and the whole figuring out who you are was something I diffidently can relate to.
I know how she felt when it came to a guy getting in the way with friendship, and the heartbreak when you…[Read more]
Woah. You totally have experience in Agatha’s shoes. I also have experience with some of the things you and Agatha faced. I don’t think they mind what you look like that much. How you connect to the character is definitely important. (They usually deal with hair and makeup later.)
Yeah. Personally, connecting with a character from a book is what can help you understand yourself. Like the actor for Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, she got her part because she connected with Luna’s character. She fit into her shoes and that character helped her understand herself. That’s why I’m really happy when people connect with a chara…[Read more]
WOW, You would be a great Agatha! I agree with CAITLYNSYU, The casting directors look more towards the background and the connection between actor and character. You definitely have been in Agatha shoes. The only thing is your 15 which they might be looking to find someone a little younger. Movie magic can make you look younger for sure, but…[Read more]
I can only wish. I have seen actors who were 14-15 look younger through the process of Movie Magic. But, I can still only wish and hope they have an open casting cal. No matter what directors choice is, I’ll still be happy knowing I have it a shot and got myself out there. 🙂
@ISSA I honestly love your attitude about this—like I admire how hopeful you are! Yah, hopefully they have open casting calls. But if they don’t, the movie will still be good because of the story that started it all.
@caitlynsyu awe. Thank you. If they do an open casting and I do get a part, I hope I’ll be able to see you there on set with me. I would love to work with you. You’re a very nice person to me, and have made me feel very happy. 🙂
@ISSA Well after 6 years of acting lessons, you learn that directors look for people that are nice to others/ work well with others. But, I guess that’s already my personality :))) I just really want to audition for Kiko. Hopefully, we’ll both get a chance to audition. If we don’t get the roles, the movie will still be great.
@caitlynsyu I do know that i do get along with others, mainly cause I have a lot of friends in this world, and I work well with others, as long as they work well with me. (Sorry if I sounded self centered). And if we both do get a chance, I hope I would be able to see you there at the audition, and hopefully set. 🙂
Hi Soman! I was wondering, are you going to do a book about the wedding that Agatha and Tedros are going to have? I’m pretty sure many people would want to see what would happen.
If you watch EverNeverTV on YouTube, there is an episode where he more or less answers your question, @issa
Does anyone know if Somen has found a producer?
He has a producer, it’s a director he’s been looking for,
Who are the producers?
“It’s being produced by the powerhouse team of Joe Roth, Palak Patel, and Jane Startz – who combined are responsible for movies like Snow White & The Huntsman, Alice and Wonderland, Ella Enchanted, Tuck Everlasting, Oz The Great & Powerful” ~Q&A with Soman (in The Storian tab)
ah. thanks
