What do you think about Dot’s mother? We all know that the Sheriff loved her and that she is a good tailor. Moreover, she is still alive in book 5. Could she be a character we have already met? She should be someone with magical powers as Dot has not inherited hers from the Sheriff and, supposedly, someone evil or with a questionable morality like Robin.

Same! The Sherrif said “It was love” before he died, even though he’s evil. Mabye he had her with Maid Marian before the Robin hood business so that could explain that line.
I agree @thecoven4ever. I think because of Dot’s heart and how Robin loves Dot so much is that maybe he knew too.

I just checked the fandom, it says Dot’s mother is Patricia of Nottingham(confirmed by the Ever Never Handbook)
What your saying makes sense, but The Handbook just says that Patricia is the Sheriff’s wife, and I think if she was that unimportant, Soman wouldn’t have made such an obvious reference in ACOT to whoever Dot’s Mother is, so it really could be someone like Maid Marian, but Idk, just a theory 🙂

So posts take a while to paper in the reader gallery because they have to review them. But you do have to make it under 2 mbs, which I usually do by emailing it to myself and making it smaller, then saving that photo
