Nervously, I stepped towards one of the coffins. Professor M called forward Lia who strode up to a coffin confidently and laid down inside. After closing the coffin and and casting a spell to change her looks, Professor M looked at me impatiently. So, hesitantly I got in.
As soon as the lid was shut, I wanted to get out. But I couldn’t. Not until a boy opened my coffin. I heard other people’s coffins being open. Impatiently, I waited for some one to open up mine. After seconds that felt like eternities, my coffin opened.
Eagerly, I sat up. Oh, wait. He was supposed to kiss me, and he did. My looks returned to normal, but I wanted to vomit.
The boy who had kissed me looked somewhat disappointed. “I was hoping for Lia…”
“Well, thanks for saving me,” I retorted sarcastically. I stood up and marched over to where Lily was standing. She gave me a sympathetic look.
After everyone was retrieved from the coffins, Professor M surveyed us. “Regardless of who you saved, you should be glad you found them.” He gave the boy who wanted Lia a pointed look. Ranking numbers appeared over our heads. A 5 poofed over my head. Probably because of my reaction to that idiot boy, who I decided to name Bobina because it was a funny name.
“Alright, so what now?” Lily asked as the class began to break up.
“I have Princess Etiqutte next,” I sighed. Princess Etiqutte was the most boring subject in the School for Good and Evil ever. Lucky boys, they get to fight each other. So much more interesting than learning the proper angle to drink tea from a cup.
“You’ll live. I have Animal Communication,” Lily said. “See you later.”
I was half-way to Princess Etiqutte when Amy ran up to me. “You have Princess Etiqutte? Me too. Mind if I join you?”
“No,” I said shyly.
“Good, because I was going to, anyways,” Amy said. “So, do you like Princess Etiqutte?”
“No, it’s SO boring. I’d rather learn how to fight like the boys. Never thought I’d say this, but I almost wish I was a boy,” I muttered.
“So why don’t we skip it then?” Amy said.
Her suggestion caught me off guard. Skip class? “Isn’t that wrong? And won’t Pollux notice?”
“Nah, he won’t care. Teachers don’t care if some of their students don’t show up. I did it all the time in normal school, well not all the time, but some times,” Amy replied.
Conflicting thoughts crowded my mind. Skipping class was wrong, surely, but Princess Etiqutte was so boring there weren’t any words to describe it. We could still get in trouble, even if Pollux supposedly didn’t care. Lily wouldn’t be happy. But…if Amy did it… it couldn’t hurt could it?
“Alright, sure. But what are we going to do instead?” I said reluctantly.
Amy smiled. “Let’s go to the Never castle.”
“W-what? I thought we were just skipping class, not the entire day!” I exclaimed incredously.
“Hey, keep your voice down,” Amy snapped. “Why don’t we skip the day? No one will notice.”
Except for Lily. Peregrin. Nova. Ruby maybe.
“Come on, it’ll be fun,” Amy prompted. “Funner than Princess Etiqutte.”
She continued trying to convince me saying things like I must be a very cowardly hero of the School if I couldn’t do a small thing like this. That was the last straw.
“Fine, but if we get into trouble for this, it’s your fault,” I snapped.
Bobinaaaaa that wasn’t very nice. I love this! Can’t wait to see what they do!
Hi I don’t remember asking to be tagged for this it’s really good though but can I please have a recap?
you asked to be tagged on Ella’s chapter if I remember correctly.
So, Lily and Maya, along with their magic pets/patronuses, go to SGE. It’s their fourth year, so they have to go on their Quest for Glory to graduate. Their quest is to find Holly, their missing sister.
Dovey is their mother, and the Schoolmaster(Is that what he’s called?) is their father. Maya had a twin sister named Crystal, but the Schoolmaster revealed that Crystal wasn’t real.
Maya doesn’t like Dovey because she lied to her and her sisters. Lily kind of likes her, and Holly (I think) likes her.
