Chapter Twenty-Five: Hero and Villain
Hurrying through the Blue Forest with Ches, Ace, and Alisha on her heels, Cass searched ahead of her for any sign of Tiana. Nothing.
“Don’t worry,” Ace said from behind her. “She’ll have to go up the long way. If we take the shortcut, we can still beat her.”
“No, we can’t. The scroll mentioned the secret path…[Read more]

Chapter Twenty-Three: The Purpose of a Jabberwock
Ace’s voice stopped her at the base of the Charity tower. She turned around, watching as he jogged to catch up to her.

Cass was starting to get tired of sneaking out with Ace. His plans were never well thought out, and she was fairly certain that sooner or later he was going to get her killed.
Alisha helped them climb down the rope, pulling it safely shut. Then, following Ace, Cass sprinted away from the school onto the…[Read more]

Chapter Twenty: Inside a Coffin
For the next few days, Cass avoided people when she could. Alisha respected her and tried to give her space, though she still attempted to cheer Cass up on occasion. Ace, on the other hand, worked tirelessly to make her smile. But even he could not succeed.
Ches hadn’t so much as looked at her…[Read more]

The next day, Cass stumbled through her classes like a zombie. She was exhausted. Alisha, on the other hand, was flouncing around and chatting with her friends just like usual, despite the dark circles under her eyes.

“Are you okay?” he asked, searching her face.
“I’m fine,” Cass said, pushing him off.…[Read more]
That’s so good! It has romance, but it also has adventure, so it’s not just like sappy and boring.

That was amazing! (I kinda think you should turn this story into.an actual book and publish it. It’s not too hard 😁
That would be super cool, but the thing is, it’s not entirely original- it’s a fan fiction. Of course, there are fan fictions that do get published, but that’s for bigger… stories, for lack of a better word. And often times, it’s not really a fan-fiction as much as an actual installment.
Hey @ladygeinevere, WHEN IS CACE GONNA HAPPEN!! (Cace=Cass and Ace)
