ok… new question! I love doing these so hopefully i’ll be able to do them more frequently after I get all of my school work out of the way.
So in the handbook, it gives a list of all of the internships the students can attend. Which internship would you choose and why?
Good question! I think I would scout the woods with the fairies. If I was in the school I would be a reader (obviously) and it would be really good to learn my surroundings. Imagine being in an enchanted forest with all your school friends!
I completely forgot about feminism insensitive!!! Can I change my answer
Definitely the one in Altazarra. The unicorns are to fabulous to not have human slaves!
I think I might do weekly questions in this group, since I have hundreds of theories about the handbook and lots of spare time.
So I guess this weeks question it: How did the illustrations compare with your imagination? In the graduating class section, with images of Tedros, Agatha, Beatrix, Kiko and the like, did these pictures look like how you…[Read more]
I 100% agree, Agatha and Tedros don’t look at all what i accepted, I think Beatrix looks the same, :P, Agatha’s neck is far too long…lol. Agatha in the 1st book (the cover) was what I really like! Same with Tedros in the second book 😛
@chloetheasian Hester is supposed to have red and black hair but the handbook her just has black
I think that they all looked kinda creepy. Their faces were really long! But I thought the coven were Spot on.
tedros was like….no
i imagined him WAY cuter
and im so bummed i didnt see rafal in the handbook
Btw guys there is red hair in Hesters hair you just have to look close
The illustrations are just that – pictures depicting how the artist themselves imagined the characters, so I generally just saw them as really cool and didn’t worry to much about if they matched with my personal image of the characters, because they are no more canon than my own imagination.
I found it annoying that Arachne and Raven (who were never said to have had red eyes/a red eye, to my knowledge) had red eyes/a red eye when Anadil (specifically said to have red eyes) had blue eyes!
I thought most of them looked pretty spot-on, but all their necks were too long. Also, what happened to Tedros? I immagined him, well . . . like on the covers (apart from the crystal of time, where he doesn’t look too good), and I imagined Agatha like on the cover of book 1 and 2. Plus, isn’t Chaddick supposed to be blonde?
I’ve been searching for these swan things for ages and I still can’t find them! I still need 4 pieces of the puzzle.
Well, apparently every time I refresh you have to start again? It might be my phone bugging out but I’ve lost all of them! I’ve found the one in the readers gallery and the home page so far.
Ok, new question about the handbook. As an ever myself, I love Dean Dovey, but she seemed quite stuck up in the handbook to me. I know Sophie was too, but Dovey always had to undermine Sophie.
One example is when they are talking about how Sophie won Trial by Tale and the Circus of Talents in her first year, Dean Dovey says:
‘You, the Reader, can…[Read more]
I haven’t thought of that before but I think that Dovey undermine Sophie because she didn’t get used with her leadership as principal, did she?
well, technically, Agatha illegally helped Sophie in the Trial, because otherwise, Sophie would have died, so that might be what she was referring to
I see what u mean I agree she never liked Sophie much did she I suppose to have a former student (1 u don’t like) suddenly on ur level, and replacing ur dead best friend probably makes dovey feel like SHE’S being undermined! And then there’s the way she spoke to Sophie at the beginning of QFG
With Sophie’s new upgrades to the evil castle detailed in the handbook, what do you think Dean Dovey and the rest of the evers thought about them? Also, do you guys think that Sophie forged that last vote for the new uniforms, or did the students actually want them?
About the new Never castle, I, as a Ever, feel like it’s WAY to showy, but I’m kind of a weirdo so, IDK. Uniforms, I actually like the new ones better. Less ‘I’m better I’m a princess,’ and more, ‘I’m a normal girl just super stylish.’
I feel the same. I feel like the castle is kind of Sophie’s excuse to make nevers look better than evers, but because she changed both of the uniforms I like them more. it makes them look more equal instead of good being pretty and fancy and evil being disgusting.
I mean, I’m a hard-core Nev, and the new castle is okay. It’s still Evil with the color scheme, but it’s more polished and refined. I personally prefer it since it’s probably nicer to be in, though at the same time I prefered the other one’s looks.
About the uniforms, I don’t think Sophie would even need to forge the vote. The Evs have less…[Read more]
I feel like the votes were actually by the students because Sophie may have convinced them that being in the school of evil is more than just being **** and that you can embrace who you are. However she definitely pushed the limits with the school renovations. Like dovey said “It’s a tradition” and that the past still needs to be there for remembering
I don’t know, I feel like tradition is very obviously important to the SGE.
I feel like my main problem with it is not the tradition it’s breaking but the way they are making it seem as if Good are the gross ones. I feel like she should have at least made it the same as Good, not better. But, you know, she’s EVIL, so she doesn’t care if Good students like me feel bad or jealous.
Knowing Sophie, I’m sure part of it was to make Good feel bad. Anyway, it seems that things are split between Evers and Nevers on this.🤷🏼♀️
Oh yeah, that’s interesting. I’m not entirely for the renovations but it’s funny to see that all the Evs think it’s too much and all the Nevs like it for the most part
I’m a never and I love the new design, even if it could probs be a little less showy and a lot more stylish, not that I’m questioning her taste or anything!
And despite everything I don’t think she did it to make evers feel bad, but she did say “and if we bring a few evers into our ranks, along the way…well then, flah-se-dah
Well as a never, I like it. The uniforms are nice, and the castle is… less foul. I mean the castle I don’t really care about, but oh god I would not be able to stand Sophie’s food changes. I need meat and milk to live.
PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR POTATOES!!!!!! I’D GIVE YOU SOME OF MY MILK AND MEAT!!!!!! I DON’T EVEN LIKE MILK OR MEAT!!!!!!!!
Here! Take them! *hands chicken.* Now my potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🥔
Thank you. ANOUNCEMENT! ANYONE WHO GIVES ME POTATOES GET CHICKEN! Thank you. Here.
I’d sneak butter in. I like the new Evil. That castle before, say what you want about it because it’s a fairy tale world with witches and princes, but that is not okay for your health. And the meals…. I’d rather have Ever meals, bit I’d take lentil soup over charred cow tounges any day. And actually, Sophie is helping the students and…[Read more]
I’m an Ever and I totally root for the new Never castle design. I’ve always really liked Sophie’s character arc.
I’ve never really liked Sophie, but I liked the new castle design and clothes but i DON’T like the food and the No Ball just makes us Nevers more like Good isn’t it? Like Anadil (I think) said at the Roundtable (I don’t even like dancing anyway🤢).
