Sorry that this is late, but here it is!
Here is the story of my life in the School For Good And Evil. We start where it all began: in Gavaldon.
It was early morning, and I was winding my ***********, ready for a new day. And then I remembered: today was the day that acceptance letters arrived!
I brushed my hair, ate a quick breakfast, got dressed, brushed my teeth, and splashed a little water on my face before dashing out the door, waving at my mom as I left.
“Acceptance letters are coming today!”
I smiled as cool air blew at my face. My friend Jaden met me as I was trotting towards the center of town.
“Acceptance letters are arriving today! I hope you get in! You’ve helped all of us so much, you’re really smart, and you’d be a perfect candidate for the School for Good! It’s really only a competition between you and Alexandria. She’s also nice, but you’ve done more than she has. Look, the Flowerground!
I looked up, and there it was! The Arboria Line of the Flowerground, ready to drop off the letters! It uncurled a branch, and envelopes fluttered down, each addressed to one of the applicants. Many would be letters saying that the person had been rejected, but two lucky people would get acceptance letters!
I quickly rushed over to find mine. There it was! I snatched it up and brought it over to where Jaden was sitting. He had decided that he was happy here, where he wanted to become a librarian!
I ripped it open and pulled out the papers inside. A slip of paper floated to the ground. A Flowerground Pass! I must have been accepted! I quickly skimmed over the contents of the letter.
“Thank you, accepted, three days, Flowerground, schedule, Good, YAY!”
“You were accepted!” Jaden exclaimed, “I knew you would be! Come on, you have three days to prepare! You can’t go without a sufficient supply of inventing supplies!”
He yanked me back towards Willow Drive, almost as excited as I was to begin with the packing!
