    The Zodiac; Polina’s POV-
“Well, that was a lot of information at one,” I joked, nudging Natasha as we walked back to the hotel. My smile quickly disappeared. “So, we’re supposed to find Rose?”
“It appears so,” Natasha said, looking at me meaningfully. “But that means skipping a lot of the competition.”
I sighed. “I suppose we’ve got to do it anyway, right? It’s just… I have no idea how to start. And I’m not even a reincarnate, so I’m not sure how much I can help anyways.”
Natasha thought this over for a minute before answering.
“Don’t worry about it. You can do plenty without being a Reincarnate. And we know that Rose is in that Idol group, right? That’s a good lead,” Natasha said.
“I guess. Anyway, let’s not talk about the mission with so many people around. Anyone could overhear. I’ll race you back to the hotel!”
I sprinted off at top speed, eager to change the topic for a while. Truthfully, I had no idea what to do next. I was glad that Natasha and I didn’t have one of the more dangerous missions, but finding Rose was going to be next to impossible what with dance, the competition, the size of Los Angeles, and not knowing where Rose even was.

“Nastya, this is no use,” I said, flipping through a magazine. I was sitting on a bed near the window of the hotel room Natasha and I shared. It was rather small, but the troupe was supposed to check into the Leo Dance Company Main Campus dorms a few days before we were supposed to compete. The magazine was an older edition with an article about Idol groups. It was the only thing we really knew that could lead us to Rose. Rose was mentioned, but very vaguely. It definitely didn’t mention what city she was currently in, except that she was from Leo.
“We need to at least do something to try and find her,” Natasha replied, looking through a different magazine about Idol groups. I tossed the magazine aside and pulled out my phone.
“Maybe the Idol groups have a website,” I shrugged in answer to Nastya’s confused expression. A few clicks later, I was looking through the “Contact” page on a website. “I didn’t find Rose, but I found the maker of this website’s email. Perhaps they’ll know where Rose is.”
Natasha came over to sit by me. “Are you really going to write an email to a random person?” she asked, unsure.
“Our mission is to find Rose,” I muttered. Truthfully, I wasn’t that sure either and I certainly wouldn’t do anything like this in any other circumstances. I clicked on the link and started to type.
    From: [email protected]
    To: [email protected]
    Subject: Rose Niji
    Body:
Hello. Do you know how to contact well-known Idol group member Rose Niji? Could you please give an email address or phone number? Thank you in advance.
“Why didn’t you add your signature, like in normal emails?” Natasha asked me.
“I don’t really want them to know who I am!” I said. “It’s bad enough that I have to email a stranger.”
“Fair point,” Natasha said, watching me click Send. “What now?”
“Now we wait for a reply. There’s not much else we can do, unless you somehow know exactly where Rose is.”
“Are you really okay with the mission? I know you love to dance, but this is sort of more important. If we get all the Reincarnates together-“
“You guys could figure out what to do. I wouldn’t be a help. And I’d go back to Capricorn without really even participating in the competition,” I said glumly. Natasha didn’t reply. I turned away to grab my dance bag. “Come on. Rehearsals start in fifteen minutes, and we need to get changed and go to the theater across the street.”
    ***
After rehearsal, I didn’t wait for Natasha to get her stuff and join me. Instead I hurried across the street and into our room in the hotel by myself. Once inside, I changed and sat on my bed.
I knew that, if all the Reincarnates were together, they could figure out what had really happened with them and Pisces Academy. They could possibly even change the world back to how it had been, and stop Ophiuchus.
I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to give up my dream of competing in and winning the competition for something that I wouldn’t really be a part of.
    (((((((((((((((((((((((((
Sorry if this was short. Just wanted to post already!!
Anyway, in this POV, Polina is kind of caught between dance and the mission.
Does anyone know the location of Rose, and if she has a phone number/email? I wouldn’t want this to be unrealistic.
Anyway, I hope this was interesting for everyone!!!! And YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Zodiac Total POV 100!!!! *I pull a lever that releases balloons and confetti and dance around!*

Oh, and, just so you know… the email addresses aren’t real.

Very good job! I love how you deal with Polina’s internal conflict. I know right now Nikolai has Leila’s phone which has Rose’s number in its Recent Calls, so you could try that.
