this is random, but who else believes Japeth is best boy and definitely SHOULDN’T DIE IN BOOK 6 SOMAN
I don’t think he has to die, but he isn’t really someone I would be cheering for.
I also like him and if Soman would keep him alive, it would make these series different, because the villian would lead his own life and be happy (with Aric)
okay this is random but Jaric needs to happen in book 6 and if it doesn’t i’ll be mad, anyone else? i will seriously write a Jaric fanfiction if that’s what it takes to make it a thing
omg i just realised something!!!
in book 4 when Sophie and Agatha first meet the Snake, he says “that was Rafal’s weakness, wasn’t it? Kissing beautiful girls. I too had that same weakness for someone in your fairytale . . .”
And then reveals he was talking about Aric.
Is he saying him and Aric KISSED?! WERE THEY ACTUALLY A THING IN ARBED HOUSE?!
Wow. I never realized that! Does that mean that Jaric is for real?!
Well….. I don’t think shipping the two worst people on earth is a good idea because both of them are heartless and I do not like what Jaric means for the earth
Lol at first I though aric was trans when I read it cuz, u kno beautiful GIRLS
Okay, but that fact that Aric was into boys had for shadowing in book 3, and Soman didn’t even plan for that to happen. Soman’s mind is just……insane.
oh yeah, and some foreshadowing moments of Japeth being into boys was when Rhian said that their mother left that dress for the bride of whoever married first, and he said Japeth had no interest in a bride, and also saying stuff like ‘thats about as likely as Japeth taking a bride’
guys i just realised, book 6 comes out in june. and june is pride month …
IS JARIC GOING TO HAPPEN???!!!
okay. so. i just had the idea, what if Japeth has a piece of Rafal’s soul in him and that’s what’s making him Evil? Like, his eyes are described as looking like Rafal’s, plus it’s pretty weird for identical twins to have different eye colours. Because Rafal might have some control over Japeth, and that’s why whenever Japeth does something evil it…[Read more]
@bethmirror30 That can’t be. Evelyn Used that magic thingy to make them the sons of King Arthur. The Lady of the Lake smelled King Arthurs blood in Japeth. So he cant be the son of Rafal.
Those are possibilities. And it seems awfully coincidental that the lions and the snake made a new pen, and they now rule the woods. And Rhian having the name of the old good brother is also interesting. In book 5, we discover that Japeth’s name is R. Japeth.. And considering what u said, it could be Rafal.
@berrah-cringer, I meant that is probably why she named her son after him.
didn’t it say that it was impossible for rafal to still have a living soul left?
I feel like Aric is hated on too much. Like, I understand why people don’t like him coz of all the things he’s done, but here’s my argument.
People say Aric is a bad person because he blames his mother for leaving him in the woods when it’s actually the School Master’s fault, but Lady Lesso didn’t even get to say goodbye to Aric so i doubt he…[Read more]
I agree. I still think that Aric is a bad person but I can see his motives. He isn’t just a one-sided monster.
Hm. This is really interesting and well thought out, Aric would probably be a completely different person if he had a nurturing guardian figure there for the start of his life – between abandonment and the emotional hardening the Woods must’ve had on him.
Exactly! He had virtually no direction, guidance, or support when it mattered most in his youth, so mistrust and vileness only grew deeper in him
I don’t really hate Aric, honestly.
He’s just misunderstood.
I don’t like him, but I also don’t hate him, either.
I do ship Jaric though.
I get the whole Lesso leaving him make him evil theory, but it does mention in the Handbook obituaries that ‘even before his mother abandoned him in a cave in order to become the Dean of the School for Evil, Aric had no internal sense of decency andor balance’. Also, if Good souls can’t become Evil and vice versa, then Aric’s essential soul ca…[Read more]
Who else was there, though? Just advisors who ruined the kingdom and an empty castle. I know the situation is slightly different but to be fair, Aric did have adoptive parents who might have helped him, but then he killed them.
im really confused, my post started off with people agreeing that they also think Aric is misunderstood, and now its just people hating on him. What happened?
Left out of what? Discussing Aric and Tedros’s differences and simalarities?
I’m sorry you feel left out, but that’s pretty ridiculous, you could’ve commented at any time. No one was saying you couldn’t join the discussion.
I think the main reason I want Aric and Japeth to be together in book 6 is because i want more gayness in the series. I also rlly want the Endless Woods to be a kind of world where you aren’t given a title like straight or gay or anything and it’s just you love who you love
I want the endless woods to be a place where everyone is treated equally . No matter your sexuality or race . And one day, maybe that’s where we’ll be too .
It sort of already is there a bit, because Agatha didn’t care that Tedros was a girl as Essa, and Tedros didn’t care Agatha was a boy as Edgar, they just loved each other for who they were
i dont know why, but when the movie comes out, i rlly want to see some posable dolls of the characters coz that would be awesome and i rlly want to reenact Rhian’s death if that doesnt sound too creepy (: but yeh, Soman you have to do this!
Okay, i feel like I’ve said this before a million times but . . . who else thinks Japeth and Aric need to happen? Jaric is the best ship and i dont get why people think they aren’t a ship!
OMG JUST REALISED SOMETHING.
Lady Gremlaine is Chaddick’s aunt!
So, when Nicola and Hort go to Foxwood looking for Rhian’s files, they meet the Headmistress, Mistress Gremlaine, and her two sons Cedric and Caleb. Cedric says to his mother that Caleb started crying during history class because they were learning about Camelot’s knights. And…[Read more]
no, he’s Mistress Gremlaine’s son (the Headmistress of the Foxwood School for Boys) Lady Gremlaine is his aunt.
I know right! I posted the same theory a few months ago on the Book 5 website.
