Hi! ! I am using the kinda appearances of Glinda and Esmerelda from Wicked. Tell me what you think. BTW I don’t do profiles as I will use the views of different characters throughout the story
It felt weird growing out the ground for Rose- she was much more used to going round in balloons or flying on broomsticks than growing like a daisy, blossoming after a bitter winter. Mind you, she wasn’t complaining, she was very positive and enjoyed the bright side of life because it was nicer to love what you have than anything else besides, the phrase the grass was greener on the other side didn’t apply to her because of the way other people would always be so so glum it was hard to be envious of them. Pasting on a smile and blond, braided buns catching the sunlight ,she strode forward admiring the beautiful flowers and brilliant green grass. Her eyes met the towers, shining like coloured glass that illuminated the beautiful garden. Behind and in front, girls gracefully swayed in the direction she was in. She noted the other girls’ postures and lifted heads but still she couldn’t find who she was looking for until she saw a girl with ebony hair, clover green skin and beautiful grey eyes. Turning to face the girl ,she smothered her in a tight hug.
“Emmy!” Rose squealed,” you came after all!”
“Yes,” the girl grunted” I came now let go of me Rose and PLEASE call me Emerald at the school. I don’t need 60 little princesses calling me ‘Emmy’ or something equally bloodless.”
Rose shifted away smiling all the same. Their hands interlocked, because Emerald was not so mean to leave her out but she hated Rose’s endless search for pet names. Shiny words caught her eye:The School For Good And Enlightenment .
Looking ahead, Emerald grimaced spotting the fairies dusting off the endless array of normally coloured girls. Her worst feature was her green skin and she definitely did not understand what Rose saw in it. Being preened and pampered was Rose and, unlike the identical version Rose had got 2 months earlier, when she got Summer for her 7th birthday ( an annoying talking toy who only talked about stuff people who didn’t believe in female empowerment would like girls to hear) she threw it to the window but not before cutting it into pieces so the dogs could finish it off. Fairies judging her green skin was definitely not her favourite idea. Clasping Rose’s hand so tight it hurt, she set off towards the expectant fairies.
Luckily, it wasn’t as bad as she first thought. Three fairies joined the trio of fairies to give them honey bush tea, dust them off and tend to their cases before flying them and bringing them down toward glass gates. A gaggle of beautiful girls joined them as they were lead down marble hallways decorated with murals of knights slaying dragons and princesses kissing princes. while itchy confetti sprinkled by 7foot nymphs fell into her hair. Suddenly, a nymph holding two parchments ****** them into her and Rose’s hands .
“Oooh,” squealed Rose, peering over at Emerald’s schedule,” our rooms are right next to each other I’m purity 24 and you’re 25. Pretty please get the bed nearest 24 so we can stay up together.”
And, there and there only, Emerald decided that maybe, just maybe, she might enjoy learning to be a princess. Yes, she just might
