Chapter 2 of my Fan fiction set in the pre-schoolmaster era
Evelyn sat on a white chocolate desk, peering at her reflection in a looking glass. Behind her, Rose braided her hair while Geena plaited Rose’s hair, and so on, until there was a line 10 girls long. Evelyn desperately wanted to practice her birdcalls, or weave spikes into her hair, but she couldn’t. Rule number 4067 stated that nobody could make dangerous altercations to clothing without permission of a dean, and mother would never allow it. Still, the thought of going into the woods, even if it was only to the glass orchard, was too frightening to stay without defense. Groaning at her lack of faith in princes, she called down a few bluebirds from the eaves. They flew to her defense, wings out and head cocked. Sheeks snapped her grarled fingers, and the birds turned to butterflies in the wind. It was useless, for the past month every spell, enchantment, hex or charm had turned to butterflies. Butterflies were useless, simply slips of paper with antennae. The only possible thing they could be good for was fashions, and so, she let a few pink ones perch on her wrist bows, shuddering at they’re icky paws stuttering around. TO BE CONTINUED

By the way, the pre-school master was 200 years prior to Sophie and Agatha’s tale meaning certain characters wouldn’t be alive… but I like this story as it is! I hope you keep it this way! I just wanted to inform you. Please continue to keep writing!!!
