    OTK MEGA SPOILER

Don’t you think that at the end of OTK Tedros is in worse situation than at the end of TLEA? He doesn’t have family (Guinevre and Lancelot are dead), he doesn’t have Merlin to give him advices, he still doesn’t have close male friend, he doesn’t have marshal or advisors, he doesn’t have his knights (I am not sure about that, correct me if I’m wrong). He only has Excalibur again and Agatha is his wife. But don’t you think that it would be unhealthy for them to be separated from any friends, mates etc.? Closed in the castle?
I know that Tedros is more mature now, but even Arthur when he was in his best age has some advisors around him and has like 12 knights, so…. How can Tedros be a good king?

I think that when Merlin died it meant that Tedros had grown up, and that he didn’t need advice from Merlin, Lance, etc. Though it’s heartbreaking that so many people died, it kind of shows that Tedros has grown up, and has learned that he really only needs Agatha to be happy. I think that the past three books have been his quest to become a good king, and that at the end it turns out that he succeeded, especially since Merlin calls him a king. Merlin had been with Tedros for a long time advising him, and I think that when Merlin said “the work is done” is meant that Tedros had grown up and didn’t need to be advised. Idk, that’s just a thought that I had when finishing OTK.

Ok, but nobody is able to rule the kingdom without help, like I said even Arthur had a lot of advisors when he was powerful, living legend. I know that Tedros grew up, but when you are mature it doesn’t mean that you don’t need help, I think being mature means that you have some experience but you also know how to ask for help and you “feel” when you have to use sb’s advice and when you’d better listen to your instinct
And being only with your love would be really tiring for everyone, you have to be surrounded by different people, have family, friends etc. So A&T being together 24/7 will be really toxic for their relationship

well yes, but he’d probably appoint people as advisors later on, and he’d still probably be in touch with Sophie, Hort, the Coven, and other SGE members

I think that he probably does have people they just weren’t main characters. I’m sure that he will appoint advisors. And also Tedros and Agatha seemed to finally reach a healthy point in their relationship by the end of OTK so if they realize they need to spend some time apart I think they would.
