My Ranking Points
Elise’s POV |1st Person|
A/N~ I would really like for more people to join so this will become a group RP, but as of right now, it’s just me. Comment if you want to join. :3
I fidgeted nervously with my braids as I sat on the blush pink bed in the 10th dorm down on the 4th floor of Purity tower. I was already fitted out in my pink Evergirl uniform; a tea-length carnation pink dress with a lighter top blinged out with flowers and ruffles. My roommates were yet to arrive, so I leaned back against my fluffy cloud pillow and closed my eyes. Just as I felt myself dozing off, the frosted white door swung open and in came a terrified looking girl with a willowy figure, mousy brown hair, and unblinking hazel eyes.
“Hi,” she muttered nervously.
I blinked, still caught up in my marvelous daydream, and frowned.
“Hi?” she repeated again, unsurely this time.
I let out a sigh, willing my inner shy self to suddenly be brave, and stuck out my hand.
“Hey, I’m Elise,” I said, shaking her small hand.
She gave me a terrified grin and shook back twice. “I’m Cecilia, from Gavaldon.”
I nodded. Oh, so that’s why she looks so terrified, I thought. She’s a Reader. “I’m from Maidenvale,” I responded awkwardly. “My grandmother’s Briar Rose.”
Her eyes widened, and I felt a stone sinking in my stomach. Don’t fawn over me, I wished desperately. Don’t, don’t, don’t-
Her shrill voice interrupted my thoughts. “You mean, the Briar Rose. As in the one from Sleeping Beauty?” she whispered, her eyes widening to a size that was surely not humanly possible.
I shrugged nonchalantly. “Yeah,” I said. She frowned.
“But, but, I don’t understand!” I bit the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing out loud. She obviously didn’t know much about SGE, not if she didn’t know about the normal students, the ones from famous fairytale families.
I rolled my eyes and prepared a lengthy explanation. Just then, the twinkling of little fairies filled the halls, and a ginger girl sprinted in, with her chest heaving she dropped a dented trunk on the last empty bed and ran back out. Saved by the bell, I thought. I turned to Cecilia and grabbed her arm. A vague thought crossed my mind. She’s freezing!
She stood still in the spot, never once blinking. “Hurry up!” I hissed. “We can’t be late for the Welcoming in the Theater!” I finally realized that she was in fact, frozen in spot by magic. Who else was in here, who else was in here? Oh right, that girl with the red hair. It must have been her. I frantically tried to melt her (sounds so wrong, lol), but my finger glow was not yet unlocked, so my magic was feeble, except for sleeping spells.
I finally let out an exasperated breath and decided to just leave her there. I ran back out into the hall and joined the neat lines of Evergirls walking down to meet Evil in the Theater of Tales.
I ended up next to a girl with tanned skin, wavy blond hair, and desert sky eyes, and behind a petite girl with a short blond bob, freckles, and gray eyes.
The impromptu procession proceeded down until we reached the west doors of the massive Theater, which was, of course, in Good. We settled down into pink glass pews, with extravagant bouquets of flowers and vanilla scented candles at the end of each aisle. Across the silver carpet in the middle, hunching black shapes in musty sacks slumped into warped benches, set beneath towering stalactites hanging from the gothic cathedral roof.
A furry two-headed dog sauntered down the aisle. One was distinctly a male, with bloodshot red eyes and saliva dripping from fangs that snarled at random students as it made its way up to a small silver stage at the end of the aisle. The other, was a slightly smaller head, with a thin coating of gray fur, pointy ears, and a gentle, smiling face.
The nicer looking one stuck out its head much farther than the other side; he was left looking forlorn on the stage.
“I’m Pollux, and this is Castor. Welcome to The School for Good and Evil!”
A/N~ Hope you enjoyed this, like I said at the top, I am accepting people who want to be in this.
