My Ranking Points
Finally, I am sooo sorry you guys had to wait so long. I just have a math quiz tomorrow on algebra, and I need to get a 100% to get straight-a’s this trimester.
The weeks before the trial sped up, until it was exactly one week prior. I had learned so much, from weather, to mogrifying, as well as learning even more animal languages and harnessing my water powers as best as I could. Our finger-glows had finally been unlocked, and mine was a pretty bright sparkly blue, that matched my eyes perfectly. Sienna’s was a pale buttery yellow. Also, Nutcracker auditions were becoming more tiring each time, so it wasn’t a surprise when I woke up stiff as a log one Thursday morning.
I finally fell out of bed, my limbs sore and aching. It was only 4 am, so I was the first one up, but today was parents visiting week, and I had to look extra special. I picked out my pink uniform, socks, and high-heels, and sprinted off for the bathroom. First, I took a long shower, and washed and conditioned my hair until it shined. I then scrubbed myself with natural coconut oil body wash, and stepped out of the tub. My hair is very thick, so it takes a very long time to dry, but I wasn’t going to take chances to dry out my hair by blow-drying it. So, while I waited I applied a fresh lemon and verbena mask to brighten up my face, and make it glow. I then gently scrubbed it with a pimple prevention scrub, made of witch hazel, tea tree, aloe vera, apricot, chamomile, and cucumber. It smelled kind of funny, but did wonders
for preventing breakouts. Just in case, I sprinkled my face with a charcoal, diamond dust, and fairy dust mixture that would erase any pimples, as small as they may be. Then it was time for my hair. I brushed it out carefully using a silver brush my mom had given me, and then tied it up with a silk pink ribbon. My hair was perfect, but I still had to do my makeup. I moisturized my face first, and then applied some light pink blush. For my eyes, I added a shimmery blush pink eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and a tiny bit of mascara. My eyelashes were pretty long already, so I didn’t want to go all out. I then added some pink lip gloss, and finally, finally I was ready.
On my way to the assembly room, I sidled up next to Lexi. She was shooting daggers at Phil.
“Hey, Lexi. I heard what happened. It’ll be fine. He was a lying, backstabbing cheat, but you know, too bad!” I exclaimed.
Lexi just sniffled once before straightening her back and fixing her eyes ahead, not even bothering to look at him.
The parents visiting assembly was great. I got to say hi after a long time to tons of my relatives including Cinderella and Briar Rose, among many others. My dad attended, and he was of course, and instant celebrity. Evers all looked up to him for his bravery, although, in my opinion he didn’t really do much. But, nonetheless, he’s alive, and that’s all that matters.
Sorry this is a bit short, but I was kind of like building it up for the Trial by Tale. I hope you enjoy! 😀
P.S. Lola is going to be doing something with her animals for the Circus of Talents since she wants to in a sort of way, honor her mom.
P.P.S For the Trial by Tale, do we have a confirmed list of all the Evers and Nevers?
Oh, Peony is in trail by tail. I will try to POV soon about what is happening to her at the school for evil. (As a never, she is in 9th place right now 🙂 )
She is still famous after the whole pirate thing. And I’m planning on doing some Peony – Peter chemistry in trail by tail and other parts of POVs 🙂
