Meeting the Boys
After a long, uncomfortable, awkward train ride with Lana, they finally arrived at the School for Good!
Lana was dropped at the rosy pink side, and Laurence at the regal blue side of the school. They muttered goodbyes, then went away. Laurence could still feel the sweat trickling down his cheeks. He lifted up the corner of his collar, then he suddenly felt a tug and a cool breeze danced inside his collar.
For a second, Laurence was struck by surprise. He was in the air!
A small swarm of buzzing fairies, zipping about with nimble grace carried him with brisk efficiency to a room with a gold plaque and the Number 12.
Welcome Laurence, Mason, Aron, Cheshire! The letters had been etched painstakingly onto the plaque.
With an undignified snort, Laurence pushed his way into the room.
There were three other boys already there. The first one introduced himself by rippling up right to Laurence’s face and grinning heartily. He had tan skin and sparkling green eyes that twinkled with humour. He had a mop of jet black curls and wore scruffy green jeans.
“Hi,” He declared. “Cheshire Cat of Wonderland, son of Cheshire Cat and Peter Pan!” Cheshire seemed easy-going and casual. “And you are?”
“Laurence Pendragon of Camelot, son of Tedros and Agatha.”
“Oh wow, lucky!” He seemed completely at ease, thought Laurence, relieved.
The next boy , Mason, with thick brown hair, and nut-brown eyes smiled shyly at Laurence through side bangs. His face was fair, and he wore a soft leather jacket. He looked rather secretive, and when Laurence asked his parents, Mason hurriedly changed the subject and murmured something about being raised by knights. He didn’t really talk much, and Laurence’s curious mind jolted alert.
Aron was good-natured and dreamy, and he spent most of the time gazing out of the window. His elfin pointy ears and button nose, gave him a sweet look. His long auburn hair swept in front of his face covering up wood-fern green eyes. Altogether, Laurence thought his roommates were a pleasant lot altogether.
All of a sudden, the fairies dashed back into the room and hauled the four disgruntled boys down to the west side of the Theater of Tales.
“What bothersome creatures!” Cheshire had complained, as they were dragged down.
A teacher silenced with a glare.
“Hush, the Girls are waiting!”
“What girls?” Laurence questioned.
Aron spoke for the first time. “We have our own Welcoming, where we throw roses to a girl.
“Oh.” Laurence cracked a grin. “I wonder what Mother did. Did she get millions of roses?”
He was nudged forwards by Mason.
“Are we starting NOW?” Laurence stared at him, aghast. The doors promptly swung open.

I love how you described Aron, and everyone! Keep up the great work, and please don’t make us wait too long until the next chapter 😉
Amazing 🙂 I laughed so hard when Laurence wondered if Agatha had millions of roses
