Omigod I thought that only happened to me! I do the exact same thing! I wrote 2 chapters of a book and I i was really excited, but then I thought up another idea and abandoned the other one! It feels so good to know I’m not alone! I thought i had a problem and would never be successful!
You have to stick with it and just focus on the next part of the story. Then slowly you make your way through it and you keep revising.
