Why does Sophie keep on falling in love with the wrong person??? It’s like a curse. I feel bad for her.

        I know, right?!

What’s ur favourite part in ACOT? My favourite part is when Sophie roasts Japeth and Rhian XD (they totally deserved it). Definitely one of my favourite chapters in the whole series (but not my favourite).

foxwoodeagle replied 4 months, 2 weeks ago

Hmm, I’m not sure what my favorite part is. That was a pretty good part though! 😂

neeka replied 4 months, 2 weeks ago

One of my favorite parts is where Agatha and others meet king Teapea!!
        Lol it was amazinggggg

snickerdoodling replied 1 month, 1 week ago

When I got to that part I literally just put the book down and started laughing for like two minutes straight. The bald cat is the king of the gnomes. Sure, why not? 🤣🤣🤣

neeka replied 1 month, 1 week ago

Omg yeahhh it was hilarious 🤣🤣
Tbh I was shocked at first bc I expected literally anything but the cat-
now everytime I remember their reactions I laugh 😂😂😂

buddyjkqueen replied 4 months, 2 weeks ago

My favorite part was when Sophie and Agatha go into the blood crystal for the first time.

agiever replied 3 months, 3 weeks ago

Definately when there was the iron gall bit and then Rhian was like “there is some on your wrist.”😂

        ilovecatsandbooks1008 replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I liked the bit when it turned out that Reaper was King Teapea. And also the part with the blood crystal.

plecks posted an update in the group QUESTIONS FOR SOMAN 5 months, 3 weeks ago

    Hi
This question isn’t really important, it’s just out of plain curiosity. When you write the book do you know how the series is going to end out? Like, when you wrote the fourth book did you know how the sixth book was going to end out? So, what I’m practically asking is… Do you plan out the whole series and how it is going to turn out before…[Read more]

theroyalhandmaiden replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I think he had the first trilogy planned (because it was originally just supposed to be three books long) and then figured out the second trilogy afterwards. I don’t know exactly what kind of writer Soman is but, as a wannabe author, I know, from listening to the advice of other authors and from some writing myself, series usually need to be…[Read more]

plecks posted an update in the group Book 6: ONE TRUE KING 5 months, 3 weeks ago

You know what annoys me? How the 6th book, the whole entire series ends just before the wedding. I want to know what happens at the wedding!

        fluffyclouds52 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

IKR its not fairrrrrrr i wanted moreeeeeeee

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

This explains literally the entire fandom on the end of OTK. “Yeah Merlin dies, then Agatha and Tedros go to get married… Ha you get to see the wizard die but you don’t get to see the wedding!!!”

imaginationland replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah ikr, the last line of the entire series was “the work is done” and I’m like THE WORK IS NOT DONE THEY DIDN’T EVEN GET MARRIED
Perhaps Soman did it on purpose knowing we’d be annoyed, because I don’t see how he could’ve expected that to get a good reception.

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

          Lol yeah XD

cattyrose replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I think he did it so u could all imagine for yourselves what happens

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

          Mebe but still AAAGGGHHH

imaginationland replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah on second thought that’s probably why, but he already described the decorations, seating, outfits, everything, so it’s not completely open for interpretation.

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

        LOL yeah I feel you.

        tagatha4life21 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

        Exactly

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Or maybe the book was getting too long? Weddings are quite long. But I still wanted to see it no matter how much it might take.

        tagatha4life21 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

When I read the end I was like “the work is done!?!?!” I love imagining stuff in my head but sometimes it’s hard like in this situation because I feel like this whole series was literally built like the author and he has incredible ideas so I wanna know his interpretation and the way everyone at the wedding would react.

ladyofthebooksge replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Exactly aaah, there were so much things unresolved and that ending…. it was amazing but bittersweet. WE NEED TAGATHA WEDDING AAA

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I also wish I could see Hort and Sophie’s wedding!!! How do you think Hort proposed?

          fluffyclouds52 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

omg i just had a thought what if he was taking too long so sophie proposed

          tagatha4life21 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I wish we could see hort and Sophie’s wedding too! I think that Hort may do it but Sophie will probably take the lead of things and I agree Sophie may be the one who proposes.

cattyrose replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Can you imagine Agatha as bridesmaid😂😂

poco replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I like it. Soman told me that he purposefully didn’t tie it all together, and wanted to leave it to the Reader’s imagination. Imagine if he had done the weddings – there would be significantly less fanfiction about the end.

poco replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

(he told me in my golden ticket meeting thing. i’m not, like, super cool)

imaginationland replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I suppose that makes sense, although he already described a lot of stuff, so it’s not completely open for interpretation. I haven’t seen any fan fiction about it (but I wasn’t really looking). Do you recommend anything?

poco replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

well, there were about a million one shots a few months after it came out, but not many any more.

poco replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

also i think he meant the vows, Sophie’s wedding dress, children, no cjildren, etc

imaginationland replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Okay I see. The vows and Sophie’s wedding dress would certainly be fun to imagine.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Even though I know that Sophie hates children, I have a feeling that she and Hort will have one. Maybe just one though

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Also I cant believe that nobody has told Tedros that Agatha and Sophie are sisters. After Agatha and Tedros’s wedding, Sophie will be Tedros’s sister in-law. And once Sophie and Hort get married all four of them will be related!

          fluffyclouds52 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

omg your right its like with the greek gods in percy jackson

imaginationland replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Didn’t the Storian write that into their fairy tale? If so, I feel like the entire Woods would be talking about it and he would probably have heard.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah you are right, but I’m pretty sure that Tedros hasn’t read their fairy tale and the woods probably dont care. Also btw I have never read Percy Jackson

          fluffyclouds52 replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

          omg you totally should

Who else thinks that Sophie is incredible in the 6th book?

        tagatha4life21 replied 6 months ago

I totally agree Sophie was awesome in book 6

          spacekat63 replied 6 months ago

          Same

        lilkelp replied 6 months ago

Yes! Also in books 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. She’s awesome in all the books.

        cattyrose replied 6 months ago

Totally. I prefer her evil book 3 Sophie but book 6 can be second best😂

        mune replied 6 months ago

As much as I dislike Sophie she was pretty awesome in the OTK

          lilkelp replied 6 months ago

*Gaspeth* What’s not to like about Sophie? She’s my second favorite character (after Hort ofc)

          -EverandNever- replied 6 months ago

          I dont like her either

          mune replied 6 months ago

I just don’t like how selfish she acts and how you’re only there if you can do something for her. My fav characters are probably japeth, Aric, and Hester.

        plecks replied 6 months ago

I actually prefer her in the 6th book but everyone has different opinions. 😊

        -EverandNever- replied 6 months ago

Um, I don’t generally like Sophie but she was really. I thought at the start that when Rhain came king she would go her evil self again.

naturely replied 5 months, 4 weeks ago

Well she isn’t meant to be selfless is she? She is still an 100% evil witch so not liking her because she’s selfish doesn’t make sense. She is supposed to be evil. She’s evil so she makes friends with people who will make her powerful. It’s literally her whole thing.

-EverandNever- replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Oh no I just dont like her! It makes the book more interesting when she is evil but i just dont like her! Sorry…,.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

But anyway Rafal and Japeth are my favorite villains ever

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Lol right? Japeth is my all time favorite bc he shows a lot more emotion than any other bad guy I have ever met in any series and he’s fighting for love!!! He”s freaking awesome!!!

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

EXACTLY!!! But I also love Rafal because like Japeth he is so mysterious and edgy and he actually comes back to life! I’ve never ever heard of a villain that has actually done that!

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Lol I’ve read series where villains fake their deaths but not actually come back to life No. However as I said before Japeth is my all time favorite villain.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Yeah. But I dont actually know who I like better. They’re both my favorite.

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Eh. Different strokes for different folks.

aurieah replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Sophie has got to be my favorite character. . . I love how in the books (after the first 3) she learns how to control her evil and. . .well, she’s not a bald, hideous witch that wants to kill Agatha, but she’s still Evil in the worst way. Like @mune said, Sophie’s only there if you can do something for her. She’s still lying and conniving, all…[Read more]

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

You’re right. But in OTK they say in one of Agatha’s chapters that she and Sophie are on that thin line between princess and witch and I completely agree. Well I still think that Agatha will always be a princess but Sophie is really different from what she was like in the School years and I love that. She was really confused and in pain in the…[Read more]

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I agree that Sophie is very different than in the school years. She does seem more mature and as you said I think that comes from being more sure on her future. Another thing that I think has made her overall more confident is the fact that she’s accepted her soul for being evil and is proud of it. I do think that her finding a boy that wasn’t…[Read more]

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

It is fine with me that she will never be one of your favorite character and I definitely agree with what you wrote. But to me what makes her incredible is before she was a villain and when someone is a villain in a fairy-tale you dont usually expect the villain to change right? You expect them to keep being the villain, keep being the bad one…[Read more]

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

I get where you’re comig from, too. Most villains don’t change, but Sophie did, so she could find love. I think that’s the remarkable thing about her is that she was willing to accept herself if it meant others accepted her more. She shouldn’t be hated definitely.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

        Exactly

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

In my opinion I think that she is one of the most incredible characters I have ever read about.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

But also, dont think I dont love Agatha as well. In fact, I love her as much as I love Sophie. Actually, all of the characters are amazing (definitely including the villains). The plot is amazing for the School years and the Camelot years. Definitely the best book series I’ve ever read before and probably the best book series I will ever read.

mune replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

All the characters are really awesome and I totally agree the villains are awesome too. This is my 2nd favorite book series, only to Keeper of the Lost Cities. It is a very interesting series and I will probably force it up on my children once I have some.

plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

But anyway I an still sad that I have finished of the series. I hope Soman could like, write a really small book (not exactly a book 7) and it could tell us what happened at the wedding? plecks replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

That’s an excellent idea! But I do wonder what Agatha and Tedros’s kids would look like. Agatha and Tedros do look quite different…. But also, you know how Soman does those little competitions? Well maybe, for the next one, we could draw what we think the couples kids would look like.
