Why does Sophie keep on falling in love with the wrong person??? It’s like a curse. I feel bad for her.
agreed! but at least with Rafal *leaving out stuff* got what was coming
What’s ur favourite part in ACOT? My favourite part is when Sophie roasts Japeth and Rhian XD (they totally deserved it). Definitely one of my favourite chapters in the whole series (but not my favourite).
Hmm, I’m not sure what my favorite part is. That was a pretty good part though! 😂
One of my favorite parts is where Agatha and others meet king Teapea!!
Lol it was amazinggggg
My favorite part was when Sophie and Agatha go into the blood crystal for the first time.
This question isn’t really important, it’s just out of plain curiosity. When you write the book do you know how the series is going to end out? Like, when you wrote the fourth book did you know how the sixth book was going to end out? So, what I’m practically asking is… Do you plan out the whole series and how it is going to turn out before…[Read more]
I think he had the first trilogy planned (because it was originally just supposed to be three books long) and then figured out the second trilogy afterwards. I don’t know exactly what kind of writer Soman is but, as a wannabe author, I know, from listening to the advice of other authors and from some writing myself, series usually need to be…[Read more]
You know what annoys me? How the 6th book, the whole entire series ends just before the wedding. I want to know what happens at the wedding!
This explains literally the entire fandom on the end of OTK. “Yeah Merlin dies, then Agatha and Tedros go to get married… Ha you get to see the wizard die but you don’t get to see the wedding!!!”
Yeah ikr, the last line of the entire series was “the work is done” and I’m like THE WORK IS NOT DONE THEY DIDN’T EVEN GET MARRIED
Perhaps Soman did it on purpose knowing we’d be annoyed, because I don’t see how he could’ve expected that to get a good reception.
I think he did it so u could all imagine for yourselves what happens
Or maybe the book was getting too long? Weddings are quite long. But I still wanted to see it no matter how much it might take.
When I read the end I was like “the work is done!?!?!” I love imagining stuff in my head but sometimes it’s hard like in this situation because I feel like this whole series was literally built like the author and he has incredible ideas so I wanna know his interpretation and the way everyone at the wedding would react.
Exactly aaah, there were so much things unresolved and that ending…. it was amazing but bittersweet. WE NEED TAGATHA WEDDING AAA
I also wish I could see Hort and Sophie’s wedding!!! How do you think Hort proposed?
omg i just had a thought what if he was taking too long so sophie proposed
I wish we could see hort and Sophie’s wedding too! I think that Hort may do it but Sophie will probably take the lead of things and I agree Sophie may be the one who proposes.
I like it. Soman told me that he purposefully didn’t tie it all together, and wanted to leave it to the Reader’s imagination. Imagine if he had done the weddings – there would be significantly less fanfiction about the end.
(he told me in my golden ticket meeting thing. i’m not, like, super cool)
well, there were about a million one shots a few months after it came out, but not many any more.
also i think he meant the vows, Sophie’s wedding dress, children, no cjildren, etc
Even though I know that Sophie hates children, I have a feeling that she and Hort will have one. Maybe just one though
Also I cant believe that nobody has told Tedros that Agatha and Sophie are sisters. After Agatha and Tedros’s wedding, Sophie will be Tedros’s sister in-law. And once Sophie and Hort get married all four of them will be related!
omg your right its like with the greek gods in percy jackson
Yeah you are right, but I’m pretty sure that Tedros hasn’t read their fairy tale and the woods probably dont care. Also btw I have never read Percy Jackson
Who else thinks that Sophie is incredible in the 6th book?
Yes! Also in books 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. She’s awesome in all the books.
Totally. I prefer her evil book 3 Sophie but book 6 can be second best😂
*Gaspeth* What’s not to like about Sophie? She’s my second favorite character (after Hort ofc)
I actually prefer her in the 6th book but everyone has different opinions. 😊
Um, I don’t generally like Sophie but she was really. I thought at the start that when Rhain came king she would go her evil self again.
Well she isn’t meant to be selfless is she? She is still an 100% evil witch so not liking her because she’s selfish doesn’t make sense. She is supposed to be evil. She’s evil so she makes friends with people who will make her powerful. It’s literally her whole thing.
EXACTLY!!! But I also love Rafal because like Japeth he is so mysterious and edgy and he actually comes back to life! I’ve never ever heard of a villain that has actually done that!
Yeah. But I dont actually know who I like better. They’re both my favorite.
Sophie has got to be my favorite character. . . I love how in the books (after the first 3) she learns how to control her evil and. . .well, she’s not a bald, hideous witch that wants to kill Agatha, but she’s still Evil in the worst way. Like @mune said, Sophie’s only there if you can do something for her. She’s still lying and conniving, all…[Read more]
You’re right. But in OTK they say in one of Agatha’s chapters that she and Sophie are on that thin line between princess and witch and I completely agree. Well I still think that Agatha will always be a princess but Sophie is really different from what she was like in the School years and I love that. She was really confused and in pain in the…[Read more]
I forgot to mention that Sophie isn’t good. She never will be. She just isn’t that evil as she was in the School years.
I agree that Sophie is very different than in the school years. She does seem more mature and as you said I think that comes from being more sure on her future. Another thing that I think has made her overall more confident is the fact that she’s accepted her soul for being evil and is proud of it. I do think that her finding a boy that wasn’t…[Read more]
It is fine with me that she will never be one of your favorite character and I definitely agree with what you wrote. But to me what makes her incredible is before she was a villain and when someone is a villain in a fairy-tale you dont usually expect the villain to change right? You expect them to keep being the villain, keep being the bad one…[Read more]
In my opinion I think that she is one of the most incredible characters I have ever read about.
But also, dont think I dont love Agatha as well. In fact, I love her as much as I love Sophie. Actually, all of the characters are amazing (definitely including the villains). The plot is amazing for the School years and the Camelot years. Definitely the best book series I’ve ever read before and probably the best book series I will ever read.
All the characters are really awesome and I totally agree the villains are awesome too. This is my 2nd favorite book series, only to Keeper of the Lost Cities. It is a very interesting series and I will probably force it up on my children once I have some.
But anyway I an still sad that I have finished of the series. I hope Soman could like, write a really small book (not exactly a book 7) and it could tell us what happened at the wedding? Even if it is a normal wedding and nothing goes wrong I still want to see it! It’s the wedding of Agatha and Tedros for goodness sake! We were all waiting to see…[Read more]
OMG yes!!!! Soman should also make Agatha and Tedros’ kids, along with Sophie and Hort’s and Anadil and Hester’s. Their kids would be AMAZINGGG!
That’s an excellent idea! But I do wonder what Agatha and Tedros’s kids would look like. Agatha and Tedros do look quite different…. But also, you know how Soman does those little competitions? Well maybe, for the next one, we could draw what we think the couples kids would look like.
