Because it’s been so long and I don’t know most for you, I’m going to start reposting the chapters I have finished in my RP. I hope that you guys like them and enjoy or re-enjoy them 😉
Beneath the Soul ~ Prologue
I’m guessing that most of you have read the classic fairytales but have you really read them? Have you read the real stories behind them? You probably haven’t but that’s why I’m here, to give you a story that tells the truth.
Deep inside mountains that no one in the Endless Woods had ever seen before, was a cave. The cave wasn’t big nor small. It wasn’t glamorous or dreadful. But it was occupied by three wizened old men with long white beards.
The men were skeletal thin and didn’t have any teeth. The first had unsettling blue eyes that stayed glued to one particular spot. The second had warm, chocolate brown eyes that warmed you from the inside out. And the last old man had blazing red eyes that seemed to set anything aflame with a single glance.
The three old men sat around a roughly cut, stone dais that had a single disk on it. The disk was intricately designed with black obsidian and white marble.
The obsidian gleamed with malice and hate, fitting perfectly in its place. Some of the obsidian was carved into what looked like black feathers. It looked like the black represented Evil in a way nothing else could.
The marble shined with elegance and perfection. The marble had a wavy pattern in it that looked like it could embody any Good. The white element was carved so perfectly that it seemed to be in its raw form, no polishing or buffing.
The three men studied the disk, not even daring to move in its presence. Then the disk began to glow. It glowed with white and black light, then, it began to spin. It spun so fast that the lights coming from it blended together, giving a dull grey glow.
Then, like a reflection in a lake, a vision came to view in the spinning disk. The vision showed two girls, both were in Good but they looked like polar opposites. One was quiet and strong while the other was outgoing and curious. The vision changed slightly so that you seemed to look right into the girls souls. Both glowed white but there was something else. Something much more ancient and secret than anything before.
The old men looked puzzled when they first saw this but than realization slowly dawned in their eyes. The realization that something terrible was going to happen.
“That can’t possibly be,” croaked the man with brown eyes.
“They are both chosen by the same spirit,” rasped the blue eyed one. “That is impossible!”
“It seems our old friend found two souls that can hold him,” wheezed the red eyed fellow. “It seems that Good will have two souls that have a bit of the Good Brother reincarnated in them.”
The disk was slowing down and the grey glow was subsiding. The three men all looked at each other, sharing the same look.
“Well then,” the red eyed man said, “we will just have to wait a couple of centuries, won’t we?”
