Ok, so don’t hate me for this but I feel like Agatha really showed an ‘evil-ish’ side in OTK, I mean, she was ok, but she really didn’t show that goodness she’s showed for the past 5 books. I feel like she could have let go of some of that anger she had (the good forgive) and try to figure out a way were everyone wins, like so many people could have done that but they didn’t and thats what makes me sad. And Agatha sat there saying stuff was getting personal when Japeth wiped Sophie’s memory, I was like, “BRUH, YOU AIMED AN ARROW AT ARIC’S HEAD, BUT YOU WANNA BE LIKE ‘YOUR GETTING PERSONAL’ THE HECK????!!!” Theres more but like I felt really angry when she sat there and was like, ‘Sophie was killing someone for her, not for camelot or tedros, but for her.’ I was like. “Honey, Japeth killed like 3 people for Aric, you didn’t seem impressed or happy then. (ps. I know he killed her friends)” But that said, I seriously didn’t like agatha in this book, every other character was on point, just for me… not her. Plus, I was just thinking, they could have made a deal with japeth that was like “If you give up camelot, we’ll bring aric back and give you your own little sanctuary like the one in avalon so it’s just you and Aric with a fresh start.” Cuz we soon figured out in chapter 23, that Japeth would give up the throne just to keep Aric. That’s all of my rant.

hmm, I can see where you’re coming from… Ok, here’s my opinion. fate didn’t let Jaric live because it just wasn’t meant to be. Besides, remember Aric in book 2? he took all the power. and even if you let both of them live together without the throne, they’d find a way to get it back. Besides, you can’t bring someone back to life unless you take complete control of the Pen, which can’t happen- Man and Pen have to live in balance. And besides, Tedros had to prove himself- his opponent giving up the throne wouldn’t earn him respect that a king should receive. and about the mind-wash thing, I think it was her hurt speaking- Japeth made it personal by killing people, including Bettina, who died for no reason. (R.I.P. Bettina 😭😭) I mean, her soul sister was being brainwashed by the person who wants to kill her prince. Just my opinion!

I couldn’t make it past the Japeth wasn’t meant to be part but um… that’s nice

lol- did it not let you read more?

        rowro345 replied 1 year ago

nah, I read it after a while, and I respect your opinion, don’t really agree but I think that if I didn’t totally all the way ship Jaric, I would have definitely agreed

I think they could have made Agatha more pure/good then stepping in every-time in book 5-6 And I think that they could have made Agatha like really pretty prettiest of all of the woods!

          ssssssssssssssssssssssssssss replied 1 year ago

for the first one, I agree! although it was kinda cool that she learned to trust in book 6 also, about the second thing, I think that the whole reason she’s **** is to indicate that looks can be deceiving. 🙂

          what is?

cocostar replied 8 months, 4 weeks ago

          aggie being really pretty
it’s stereotypical and it’d take away a lot of Aggie’s struggles

I totally agree, I don’t remember where I said this but I did in another post and I’ll say it again that it was completely horrible and NOT TO MENTION ~EVIL~ (this coming from a bunch of Evers btw) for them to use Aric as an excuse to literally kill Japeth, I mean..it’s like (also, whoever said this as a comment to my last post, sorrry I can’t remember your username to give credit but lmk and I will) said that it was sick and that it was like using a dead Arthur/Callis to break Tedros/Aggie. I’m sorry if that was a bit confusing btw (:

          readeraaaa replied 1 year ago

I see your view your right it was a little interesting they used him as a excuse

          al3xa-blackheart replied 1 year ago

@readeraaaa yeah, it’s kind of sad honestly, none of them actually put aside their differences like a true ever and actually felt empathy, except maybe Agatha, I think she might be the only true ever because she said that she couldn’t let herlelf feel for them, not those two (in OTK where Tedros pretends to be Aric), it’s just that her heart was conflicted on weather to be truly good or to be good and loyal to her friends. That totally made me respect Aggie a lot more because it shows she’s honestly a better person than most of them put together

          Eye-
JAPETH. TERRORISED. THE WHOLE FRICKIN’ WOODS MY DUDE. AIN’T NOBOD GONNA BE EMPATHETIC IN THAT SITUATION. ARIC IS A WOULD BE COMMITER OF MATRICIDE.
