Rhian or Rafal? Who is a better antagonist/character, and why?
I’d say Rhian, in my opinion. Rafal was just… evil, I don’t know how to put it. On the other hand, Rhian is complicated and has stronger motives.
I really cannot decide for myself, I love both of them just the same!
Rafal was a better antagonist bit Rhian was more interesting.
I’d say Rafal because he was more ruthless, and instead of being a bit merciful, he wanted to kill Tedros and Agatha. Rhian was a bit nicer because towards the end he actually fell in love with Sophie.
I love both of them equally. But if I had to choose…it would be Rafel because at least he believed the Sorian and not tried to have complete control. Though of course maybe Rhian never wanted to do that but bring back Elven Sander.
@liliystarling Like you, I love both of them just the same. Honestly, not sure why I always end up rooting for the villians. Despite them being evil, there is just something about them that ends up catching my attention. Really wish both of them would make one last reappearance in OTK
Hold on, it’s all about Japeth.
@sgeforeverafter I totally agree with you. I for some reason always root for the villains or underdogs in like… anything. Sorry just had to say that
I just realized that my perception of the character’s ages has been wrong this entire time. For some reason, I always thought that the main characters were around 12 during the course of the first book. But within a deleted chapter from Book 1, Soman specifies that Sophie is 15 at the time. Which means that Agatha is also 15. I was totally mind blown!
But Tedros is 16 in the fourth book. That means he’s 13 in the first book, and I don’t think Agatha is two years older than him
But remember, that chapter is deleted. It’s not canon. That means they’re not necessarily 15 in book 1. Plus, remember they don’t age a year each book. Book 3 took place in only a month.
but they are first years, second years, third years, and fourth years. im gonna assume there’s a year in between each
@alexofroom66 Well, not necessarily. While Book 2 does take place a year after, Book 3 happens only about a month later. So my guess is this: Sophie and Agatha are 15 in the first book while Tedros has to be in his last stages of 14. Second and third book: Sophie and Agatha are 16 while Tedros is just about to turn 16 in time for his coronation.…[Read more]
@alexofroom66 no, they don’t age a year each book. School years and age years are not necessarily correlated with Sophie, Agatha, and Tedros, since their years are very flawed and not according to an actual schedule.
Same! I thought they were 13-14 or younger. Still I don’t think all the 1st years are the same age since the book said “between the age of 12 and 16” or something like that.
Hey guys, I’m just bumping into this conversation.
I figure they spent about a 6 months at The School For Good And Evil, (they probably started in September) in the first book, because it said they went home at the circus, which is before the ball, which takes place in January I believe. They were home for only six months before returning to the w…[Read more]
Okay, so I was rereading Book 1 and I could not help but remember just how great of a witch Sophie is. I mean, it takes great intelligence and skills to do what Sophie did in Book 1 (win the Circus Crown, lure Good into the Evil castle, mess with the rules that separate Good from Evil. etc.). And I think that Sophie should go back to being the…[Read more]
Thing is, Japeth wiped Sophie’s memory and forced her to love him… Read the extract
Yes! I want to se the Grand High Witch Ultimate in action again. She can be proof that evil can also do great things and ally with good, while still being evil. Hope she snaps out of thay spell and destroy Japeth..
@raynaevil809 , and when beezle started praising Sophie, and how she reacted… Hope he’s in book 6😂😂😂😂😂😂
Quick question: Who out there still believes in Hort + Sophie?
Please, I cannot be the only one
Oh, LOTS of people do. I’m pretty sure there’s a Hophie praising club…
I think they would be a good couple, I reallllllllly hope they get together
I don’t really ship them ?? It’s just my own opinion tho, no attacking 🙂 And yeah, I’m pretty sure there are LOADS of people who believe in them sooo…
Honestly, who here remembers the wish fish from book three?
I do! 🙂
I do!! The wish fish scene from Book 3 is something that I will never forget. In my opinion, its a ray of hope for all of those Hophie shippers out there (including me!)
I actually do too. To be honest, I didn’t really like Nicola at first just because I thought that she came in between Hort and Sophie. But I’ve grown to appreciate her over time; now I would feel absolutely horrible if something were to happen to Nicola
But I just cannot get over Hort and Sophie. I have been shipping them for too long, and I absolutely refuse to give up on them now. There’s just so much evidence pointing to the possibility of them actually being together! Book 3: The wish fish scene, it has to mean so much more than just a simple wish Book 5: Hort still has feelings for Sophie,…[Read more]
i totally agree with you both ZEEJAY and SGE4EVERAFTER. Nicola wasn’t… let’s say my favorite person when she first came out. But like SGE4EVERAFTER said, I grew to eventually like her and feel totally bad for her. But i wish for SORT more that anything in the SGE series. Soo… sorry Nicola 🙂
