Remember in the first book when we all had a crush on Tedros? He was literally the PERFECT guy. But in this book, he just acts like an idiot… I’m sad that he has lost his flirtiness. 🙁

Since the series is supposed to take place a really long time ago, it would be a good idea to employ people whose faces aren’t well known. Solution: either fans or just regular people who look like characters and have a talent for acting.

Kiko is Asian, and I think Nicholas (that everboy who died in book 3) and Nicola are black

A) Kiko is the only character, but she spends most of her time mourning over a dead boy.
B) Nicholas was tanned and he died, he was not a main character, he just happened to be a distant friend of Tedros
C) I hate Nicola!

@avaofmaidenvale no Nicholas was described as dark skinned. I don’t like Nicola either, but at least she’s kind of important. But even if Soman added a new character of a different race, the main characters (Agatha tedros and Sophie) are Caucasian. And maybe I should stop being jealous that everyone else has perfect vision and leave this conversation

I’m laughing. It’s because I have terrible vision and wear contacts, so I forget people wear glasses. Such a good point. I haven’t worn glasses in 10 years! My bad.
