Tonight is the night in which I escape this hellhole. My bag is packed and ready to go, all I need now is to get dressed. I pull on my sleek black bodysuit ( normally used in power training) and tie my hair into box braids. I put my boots on and grab my backpack. Get ready was the easy part actually escaping is the hard part. I open my tower window and stand on the ledge. Above me is my zip- line which goes to my private garden and my horse’s stable. I clip in and grab onto the handles. One breath in and one breath out. Now I’m ready.
I push of the ledge and hang in mid air for about a second until I’m going really fast. Closing my eyes I take a couple of deep breaths. About a minute later I’m un-clipping myself from the zip-line. I pull on the cord that sends it back up. I walk over to Legend’s stable. I open the gate and put on his bridle. I mount and tell him to walk forward. I close the gate behind us and then we are off.
The sheer joy of riding envelopes me and I let out a small giggle. We jump over fences and gates until we reach the castle wall. I press my fingers into small indent in a brick. A secret door opens and we quickly go through. The faster we go the sooner we get away. So back to galloping we go. We keep on going but before I know it I have fallen asleep.
