My Ranking Points
I’m sorry to bother you (cause I know that you’ve been working really hard to sort out some of the drama), but I just wanted to check something with you.
The open chat forum is for posting whatever you want right? As long as it isn’t offensive (like racist or sexists) it should be fine? Because I’ve been seeing a lot of people posting things like, “Hiii!” Or “Goodnight.” Or “I just ate cookies” and then other users completely losing their chill in the comments being like, “HOW DARE YOU!” and “This is a one liner…” or “Can you delete this? It’s clogging up the chat.” and even “UGH! Now I can’t see the important posts!!”
Anyway, I wanted to clarify that posts like “one liners” are ok in the open chat, because in the chat description, it legit says: Wonder who else is online? Want to chat about other books, what shows you’re watching, and anything else that strikes your fancy? Step in here and mingle with the rest of the Ever-Never Army!
And I’m pretty sure that posts like, “Hi!” Or “Who’s on?” Or “Goodmorning Guyssss” are all okay according to that description.
So yeah, if you could confirm that any user can post whatever they want in open chat (as long as it’s not mean or offensive), even if it’s a “one-liner”??
Yeah, I’m kinda seeing a lot of those lately. Tbh, at the moment even the Wattpad comments section seems a lot closer and more family-like than Open Chat.
Well it becomes an issue when there’s five “hi” posts in a row.
Hi Maplebacondonut, thanks for your note. I would say as a general rule of thumb, Open Chat is a safe-space for people to talk about anything that strikes their fancy, as long as it’s not offensive.
That being said, I recommend users take a look at the on-going chat before posting. If a conversation is already going on, I understand how it can be frustrating to have it interrupted by a series of unrelated posts.
