Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to everyone in this site!! A fews day left before 2019!!!!
SO EXCITED, THE CLOSER WE GET 2 BOOK 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can’t believe it’s almost 2019. It feels like 2018 just started.
On that note, I’m SUPER excited to get a book in 2019 that says “copyright, 2019” on the second page. idk why but it’ll be really satisfying to me.
sorry to barge in on your private conversation
but kingdom of ash is great you should definitely get it
it probably has one or two scenes in it but not detailed at all
you should also read acotar
i feel so rude looking through your activity and barging in sorry!
Hey @maskedgem , it’s okay! 🙂 Thanks for your comment too. I had read book one of ACOTAR only. (’bout a year ago) Thanks for telling me about the kingdom of ash 😉
Hi Soman!! What do you mean by proofing the books. Do you have to look up the facts when you finish writing a book?
And also, how do you first publish a book? Do you seek a publisher or something?
Proofing is when they make sure it’s spelled correctly I think
Proofing is kinda like self-editing, I think. Like you know when editors correct mistakes but like Soman tries to do it himself first. I don’t know if that’s right, it’s just my guess. With publishing you have to send it to a publisher.
It’s rereading what you wrote and correcting any mistakes you may have made, whether it is story-wise or grammar-wise or something else. It’s like being the editor of your own book.
To publish a book, a publisher has to accept your story to see if it has any profit. You would usually send an excerpt. Many famous authors have been rejected at this…[Read more]
Proofing is more when they send it to me how it looks on the page and I have to carefully go through it and make sure there’s no typos
Hi @sparklyfairy123 . Since i’m not ordering the special edition, I was wondering if you could summarize what it said to me when you finished reading it on Friday. However, if it troubles you, then it’s okay. Thanks 😀
Of course I will! But my book arrives on Friday, and then I have to wait 2 hourse before I can go home (thanks brother), and I also might have other things, so I may not finish it until later.
Hi @sparklyfairy123 , you have finished reading, right? So, can you sum it up for me ?(you can do it whenever you’re free! ) Thanks a million ! 😀
Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! I totally forgot! It starts when Fitz gets back from the healing center. He faces relentless pestering from Biana to admit to Sophie that he likes her, which he apparently has since he almost died in Neverseen. He eventually says to Biana that he told Sophie, even though it was only the whole, “You’re the only one I tru…[Read more]
*** @sparklyfairy123 , the last part’s a total mind-blower!!!! Thank you, thank you and thank you for telling me about this!!! Ahhh!! I’m so excited to see what’s next to come!!!!!! 😀 😀 😀
AAAAH!!! Kingdom of Ash has been launched!! I really, really want to read it!! 🙁 🙁
I NEED TO READ IT–THERE ARE LIKE 100 HOLDS ON IT AT MY LIBRARY AND I JUST…
I have some problem opening my notifications. It said I had 3 notifications but I just can’t scroll doen, I tried reloading the page for several times but it just won’t work!! 🙁 Does anyone know why?
I asked JoAnn about it, and she said that it’s because of the expanding Ever Never Army sharing more and more content that is giving the site a struggle. She and the others hope to have everything up and running again soon 🙂
oh yeah me too, except I have 101. I have never had such a notification backlog!
When I click on my notifications it doesn’t open this page get stuck and now the notifications get down
Another 2 notifications and it’ll be the year I was born.
It’s a problem that they are trying to fix. I wonder how long it will take. At least we can post and comment now.
It’s a relief they’re working on it. I thought it was only me who has that problem.
I had to scroll all the way down Open Chat to check the comments…
Hi guys, this time I am not askinv about the KOTLC 😛 I am curious to know if anyone of you had read the Skyfall series. I am starting midway on Book 1 and it was AMAZING!!! Did you guys read it? :-)…[Read more]
The wind 🙂 all three books’ title are very super mind blowing. Let the sky fall. Let the wind rise. Let the storm break. 🙂
Alright! I just finish the first book, and I am APPALLED by the ending!!!!!
Nope…well I actually started reading book one awhile ago but never got around to finishing it…
I haven’t read it. I looked into it and it seemed like it was more of a fantasy romance book, and I’m not really into that kind of stuff
Hey, I’m back! I haven’t read the series yet, but I was planning to in the future.
Oh, and to those future readers. I did like to say that the first book is simply about the process and not all the action. The action…you know, the climax.. can be said is at the last few chapters. So like what @sparklyfairy123 said- you must be into romance book. Cuz the road through the whole book is a LITTLE smooth. I hope this info helps!…[Read more]
Sorry, didn’t receive this notification @goodandevel . Yup,I agree with you, Shannon Messenger’s book is hard to be found here too!!
Related to KOTLC post! How are you doing everyone, hope you all are having a great day! I just finished re reading Neverseen and a question popped into my mind.: How many times did it took for Keefe to say the oath (i will do everything in my power to save my world) before it finally opened for him? What do you…[Read more]
Ohh , thanks @EVILERRULER845 why didn’t I catch that? 😛 I guess I kept peeking at the next page to see what happened 😀
Well, since I support Keefe in everything he does, I don’t really care as long as it opened…the poor guy, he went through so much!
oh my gosh!!!! you guys read keeper of the lost city??
Yes I was wondering about that too. I feel so bad for keefe. 🙁 I can guess it took a lot.
Related to KOTLC post. Hellooo guys!! Okay *takes a deep breath*Here it goes..
I bet you have all heard of the Flashback’s Barnes and Noble edition!!!! and Shannon Messenger is like going to finally answer our question through Fitz’s POV!!!!!! But I am so FRUSTRATED right now because I can only buy the paperback edition!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!! 🙁 :-(…[Read more]
Aww, you don’t like Fitz? Team Foster-Keefe is where it’s at, but Fitz is pretty great. He’s like… that big brother that everybody never had! (And I’lll beee ooorrdeeerrriinngg iiittt! I’m not supposed to spend money, but maybe I’ll just convince myself it’s worth it.)
Oh!! I don’t know if my parents will let me order, but @JAMIEPARKER , can you tell me what actually Fitz’s PoV said when the book’s out. A million thanks if it’s the affirmative 😀
I totally will @Wenteo, if you don’t hear it from the other internet first! I’m pretty sure tumblr will be flipping out, and the POV will be posted within a few hours. But I’ll give you a summary of it when I’m finished 🙂
i love fitz!who doesn’t? (except you, @theginger)
Yes I ordered it!!! I really hope the extra question thing is about the great gulon incident! I am hopelessly exited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, I was just re-reading KOTLC when I just realized that the author never really quite explained the name. Is it because the keeper refering to…[Read more]
Book 7 is in the work and we have title and cover! I think keeper is relating to Sophie. Her ultimate goal is to save the Lost Cities, so maybe that has something to do with the title?
*crossing fingers for Team Foster Keefe in Flashback* 🙂
I had only read until Lodestar, I think it will too painful for me to read Nightfall and find another cliffhanger there, so I decided to buy it together with Flashback when it’s out!! Can’t WAIT!!! 🙂 And now I am reading the first book again, and I was kinda hoping for Sophitz, you know. But do you guys think that Fitz like Sophie? Because he…[Read more]
Hahaha Wento, your funny…shipping Sophitz? Please, it’s clear his feelings drive from her amazing abitlites rather than her real self.
Sophie probably, because she’s basically the only elf who really cares about the lost cities, and she kind of helps keep the elves from obliterating/enslaving/dominating the citizens of the lost cities
Yeah, I think so. In the first book, Quinlin and Alden were discussing how strong Sophie’s blocking was, and they said that people who had that sort of skill were usually Keepers (people who kept secrets and worked for the Council or something I think). So maybe she’s like the Keeper of the Lost Cities? Idk
Tag me if you talk about KOTLC please! I love this book series, I agree with everyone that said something previously, especially @themaplebacondonut
So don’t kill me for saying this, but I think Sophitz would work. Maybe. But Team Foster-Keefe is better. I honestly just hope that Flashback will have some sort of ship moment(s) .
Don’t worry I won’t kill you lol…I mean, Fitz and Sophie do have their moments…bUt KEEFE and her have more XD
Do you think Shannon Messenger will tolerate the majority in the end and make Team Foster-Keefe win ?
I hope with all my heart that yes, she will do that…..but who knows? Only time will tell.
its because sophies mind is imposible to break into and so are keepers
Well, regular keepers have extremely strong minds, but they are not impossible to break into too, with Sophie being the exception of course.
There must be a reason why she’s been made to be an impenetrable keeper.
Well we know one reason, to tuck information away….but I assume another reason might be that she needs to be able to lead a strong rebellion–like Mr.Forkle
yeah, and also the enemy (neverseen) would be impossible to be able to defeat or fight if they knew all of the black swans secrets
I am REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY…[Read more]
