Hi Soman, do you guys still have background character positions open? ToT Willing to fly there just to breath in SGE air!
Netflix usually does open call casting for extras but apparently the people who have contacted Fiona Weir and her team directly have learnt that casting is completely closed (either that or casting can only be done through casting agents)
Hello @theroyalhandmaiden! I just wanted to ask who has contacted her?? And how? Personally I really wish to try but it seems that there is no way to contact her and insure the message will go through. ❤️❤️
@cikokiko The funko pops are hands down the best idea ever! Take my money, I need them now.
Hi @Jun is it possible to get a “off-topic” or “general” common room? I often have topics I want to discuss that doesn’t relate to the roleplaying or book-talk common rooms, but still pertains to SGE.
There actually used to be one called Open Chat that was really popular. It vanished last year because of a glitch and still hasn’t been brought back yet.
Hi Yozoh, we are looking into a solution in an upcoming revamp of the website. We will let you know more in the upcoming months as we prepare for this!
I got my notebook! 😀 Did anyone else?
@DELILAHKITTY From what I was able to brief from the first couple of pages, it’s about the coven’s adventures when Dovey gave them the assignment to find a new school master – after Sophie had killed Rafal. It talks about them going to other schools. 🙂
XD I have a notebook like that but the cover is just the ‘marble’ pattern
omg seriously? Is there at least the title and text on the cover though? o_o
Anyone received their pre-order notebook yet? Supposedly it shipped June 8th ToT
I think the website said that they would ship 4-6 weeks after June 8th
I dont live in the US so i cant get it😭 even though i pre ordered it😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I’m so sorry, wish they would ship international. I don’t know why they can’t… 🙁
I live in Canada so I can’t get the preorder gift! I really wish they would ship internationally! Not fair! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
So I got to the part where Sophie was finally able to escape from Japeth’s mind control! And the message she left behind was so POWERFUL: “All of you will die.”
I literally felt chills up my arms! I think the Snake really forgets who he’s messing with, a powerful female character! The mistral sisters…[Read more]
honestly, I am LOVIN Sophie in this book!
And it isn’t just Sophie is a powerful female character, it’s Sophie will wring your neck like the chicken you are you insolent fool
YAS!!! I honestly loved the part with Sophie’s message SO MUCH! She is such an icon!!!
I love Agatha and Tedros… but in book 6 Agatha is controlling, and Tedros is a bad king at the begining… whereas Sophie is just this Iconic Diva Godess the entire time. And just when you start to think she’s finally met her match, she does something like that!!!! Books 4, 5, & 6 are totally Sophie’s time to shine!!!😍😍😍
I just got my OTK book in mail!!! *SCREAMMMS*
It’s sooo beautiful, can’t wait to take my time reading and absorbing every little detail from the LAST book. ToT
I got the signed edition, and it came with a little cute Agatha stamp where Soman signed it. I’m crying, it’s soooo beautiful!
I hugged mine when it got to me… I was so happy and sad at the same time…
When I got mine, I started hyperventilating and nearly fainted, no joke.
Has anyone received their free pre-order notebook? TuT

Its a virtual event with Soman and SGE fans. Its just celebrating the series! This will be my first one so I hope it’ll be good! 🙂
Now that the series is coming to a The End, let’s pay tribute to Soman by writing down how you discovered SGE and how it has impacted your life.
Hi Soman! I hope this note finds you well, because I want to tell you how much of a positive impact SGE has made on my life. I remember being a lonely high schooler, having no friends at…[Read more]
For me, it started on a birthday party. One of my friends gifted me the first book. The moment I started, I instantly fell in love with it. My other friend loaned me books 2-5, and now I’ve ordered book 6. These books are amazing, well-written, and so interesting. One reason I love this series is because it lets me escape from the world, even if I…[Read more]
My story with this book started when I had just moved. My parents work a lot and because of their position in the company, we usually move around. By now I’ve visited half of Europe and Scandinavia!! Back to the story: it’s really hard to find friends and people you trust when you know things are only temporary. My parents being str…[Read more]
For me it started in grade 5. I know i was really late for the first book but… I still love them. One of my friends recommended our school library to get the series, when there were only 3 books. My other friend recommended the series to another friend who I saw reading it. When I saw the cover, I immediately fell in love. Thanks soman for…[Read more]
My story started just a little while ago. For summer break my family decided to visit Dubai. We went to a locally famous bookstore in that area. I saw a whole rack of sge books and needles to say, I was intruged. I started reading that book and by the time we headed back home, me and the first sge book were best friends. (I didn’t have…[Read more]
I discovered School for Good and Evil before I can actually completely remember… I must have been five or six, maybe seven or eight? I don’t know, but anyway, we were staying with family friends, (I’m not really sure why, because at the time we lived about ten minutes away from them by walk), and one of them is an old colleague of…[Read more]
About nine month ago, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a type of cancer. It was hard. I would never have expected something like that to happen to me, but it did. I would be at the hospital more than I was at home during cancer. I was diagnosed just when school started for me, so I missed a lot of school. I started c…[Read more]
So mine is pretty basic: I was in our local bookstore. I live in Corvallis, a small town in Oregon a few hours off the coast. Our bookstores are pretty small. We have two. I was just looking around and I found this book. I didn’t actually have a particular interest in it, but u was so desperate to have a new book that I bought it a…[Read more]
My journey with the school for good and evil actually started twice. The first time, I was a little young for the series, so I stopped after the second book. A year or so after, I picked up the first book again. “I don’t really have any books to read, and it has been a while since I read it,” I told myself. This time, when I picked up…[Read more]
The day I started to read SGE was a great one for me. I was 13 and the writing camp I was attending was my dream come true. I loved to write, and still do, and meeting some of my biggest role models was huge for me. At first I was disappointed to find out that my Author Mentor for the duration of the camp was Soman Chainani. I had not read any of…[Read more]
I was 8. All the books I like the most are recommended by my cousin who’s a year older than me. At one of the family get togethers me and her were reading side by side, and then she let me read the first chapter and I instantly fell in love w it. When we got home I immediately ordered all the books that were out so far and read them, cover to…[Read more]
SGE was the first big book series Iv’e ever read. I started it when my best friend at the time recomended it to me in second grade right after the second book just came out. It has been with me for most of my life and I feel like so conected to it and in a way it feels like an end of an era like my childhood is ending so i feel meloncholy
